vanquisher was better than i remembered. rhythm music too fast to process on first listen sometimes or at least that's how it feels.

shinin queen still good! still lukewarm on the parts that's like vocals but it's a very small portion of the song.

subterranean sunrise is so ridiculously good. i don't think i voted for it in r1? or maybe it just had competition i thought was stiff jesus i have a garbage memory.

sky land got a rough draw. it makes me very happy, but it lacks the strength of subterranean sunrise.

kannanshinku continues to blow my mind.

World Vanquisher is SO GOOODDD and i'm sad it got a matchup against another one of my favourite vgm EVER that turned up in this vgmc, like in most other situations i would vote for it but... shinin' queen wins for me once again.

the fact i'm at risk at losing two of my favourite songs of this vgmc this round is worrying, but at least they're paired up against some good stuff lol

The contrast between Subterranean Sunrises moody synths and rising guitar tells a story of making it out of the murky depths. I think the song gets a little too muddy near the end, the chiptune that comes in at 3:33 couldve worked as the finale.

The vocals in KANNANSHINKU combine with the spacey synths to create a hypnotic atmosphere. I like that the more strongly melodic elements like 0:28-0:40 are used sparingly, theyre there to accentuate the atmosphere.

Voted Kobito again. Synapse a solid second. Round 2 has been kind to me so far.
