Its so nice to actually have a place to go try out new decks though, without negatively affecting my rank.

So I keep having people retreat, it gives me a victory screen and then crashes. Then when I shut it down and restart the app it tells me my conquest was incomplete.

I also have a beta key to the DC game too. I don't know how much time i'll have to check it out.

I tried to find the download link and I can't find it anywhere. Lol The email says it's available on the website, the FAQ says it's available on the website. But I can't find it anywhere on the website, and it's not a big website!

Edit: Oh, PC only for this beta weekend. That's why. Ehhhhh I hate playing these mobile card games on PC. Maybe I'll do it.

Well nice to see the sweatiest ass teams Ive ever seen are plaguing Proving Grounds. Sure makes it fun for everyone else woo

Yeah I'm probably just going to stick to the 1st rank and concede all of my silver tickets later. Games just take too long and if I wanted to play against HE decks back to back 5 times I'd just go play ranked.

At least most people seem to be receptive to the "Snap on turn 1 and then concede if you lose" mindset for proving grounds.

I thought my grind to 100 medals would be quick and easy just doing the beginner stage for it, but all these sweaty losers are making it tough

Very odd that your opponent didn't play Dracula mid, did they think it wouldn't work right with Apocalypse? Morbius should've gone middle too, they basically threw that game away

I played two proving grounds matches in a row against High Evo decks and I dont know if I can handle a third, lol.

My proving ground match today was against a very annoying deck with a constantly moving Vulture, compliments of Ghost Spider, and a Leader.

The last game we were tied to 1-1 left, I guess he got a bad draw and I took him over the edge after I hit him with the Master Mold + Absorbing Man combo and he just immediately quit.

I've had this happen multiple times, once they did climb back bringing us to a final game which I won. Hardly worth it for me so I know it was not worth it for them.

Wow I actually won 2 matches with my shit Zoo deck in Proving Ground. They were close wins, but still kinda funny and I cleared the 1 cost card mission.

I think the craziest Proving Grounds game I had went like 6 or 7 rounds.

I was playing a destroy deck with a big Venom each game basically. The wildest thing is that he only managed to play Shang-Chi on my Venom in the 6th game. I was so stunned seeing Shang-Chi in that 6th game after not seeing him at all in the first 5 games.

Worst luck ever for that guy.

Decided to try that Ongoing Destroyer deck from the last topic and my first proving grounds game was against another guy playing Destroyer AND Super Skrull.

I did beat them in an 8 cuber right off the bat so it seemed dumb to forfeit

I'm saying they were being dumb by playing it out. They wasted a lot of time.

Gold conquest done, on to infinity now. Almost lost it to a dedicated shutdown deck, but I'd thankfully swapped Jeff back in and he saved my ass

I feel like something needs to be done about the length of these Conquest matches. If they lower the amount of points needed to win then it's probably alright. But I just went through a ringer with someone I beat pretty handily, but it took forever because if I snapped, he retreated immediately, so I just kept getting 1 point.

Took forever to just end the damn thing.

Maybe High Stakes should start at Round 3?

Dropping the number of cubes needed from 10 to 8 would probably help a ton. I find playing out games where someone loses a double snap game to be annoying.

Ranked games are between like 3/10 intensity but Conquest is like 9/10. It's such a stark difference to what you're used to.

I also swear that Conquest locations have a more brutal distribution. I just got Collapsed Mine, Luke's Bar, Triskelion, Rickety Bridge multiple rounds in a row. Last time I tried it I was getting so many negative power and unplayable locations.

Did you get Daredevil from buying a variant? If so, you still haven't "earned" the normal card and have to get it through caches/free series 3 card

Oddly, one of my favorite parts of it is using it is the Sentry/Viper combo which comes in clutch if if I don't draw good stuff for Dark Hawk and Ronan. With Zabu active, it's essentially a 23 power combo for 5 cost. It's bonkers and people loathe it.

But being able to clog up their entire hand with nothing but Sentry and fill up their deck with Rocks is clutch. It's a frustrating deck for other folks in ways they don't expect. It's hard against Discard decks though, I've noticed, since they can just get rid of the trash. But being able to use Absorbing Man to keep piling on with more trash is great.

It is hard against discard decks but not unwinnable, morbius gets a buff if they modok but you can also break their swarm discard so only a minor loss of momentum. Still haven't pulled off sentry into viper yet :(

Always keep the last lane open until it's clear you won't be going the Sentry/Viper route. The best is when I can just pull it off turn 5 with Zabu active and completely change the game around. But you can also use Sentry turn 3/4 and then use Viper the next turn. But you should definitely make sure you have both of them in your hand before trying.

basically Silk is only 5k tokens if you get her and complete the weekend mission, might be worth considering since she's definitely a top tier 2 drop

Is that the only way to get the 1k tokens? If so thats pretty fucking garbage since most people wont get any of them due to not having the new 6k card

I hate any meta-rewards for playing specific cards. It ruins the purity of the game. Hot locations that favor specific decks/cards already feel really bad.

This is just a tactic to force people to buy more tokens
