I have forgotten just how shameful it is to mess up your Synchro plays.

Not only it highlights the misplay for all to see, it might also show you that you're bad at math or planning.

The shame degree is just too different.

Performapal Odd-Eyes is a lot of fun, just kind of expensive. The newer 'pals open up a lot of fun combos. Pendulum summon Sorcerer is basically a free ticket to Baronne+Vortex at the minimum, plus whatever else you have in your hand.

For what it's worth, that guy on GX also uses Red-Eyes (Darkness).

But between the two, Blue-Eyes simply is much better and, for what is it worth, actually end up on their own monsters most of the time.

Red-Eyes you either go burn FTK (and get handtrapped), or go Dragon Link and ending on none of the Red-Eyes (the Borrels lol) unless you shoot yourself in the foot and play Anaconda to put out a Red-Eyes fusion....in which case, might as well use Branded or DPE.

Though Dragon Link or Dragunity variant that ends in Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon (may or may not have Borrel monsters as well) exists so if you are into that, might as well?

Buy 3 structure deck, make Nothung the Starlight, Hot Red Daemon's Dragon Abyss (Hot RDA Abyss, if you haven't had it yet), and...uh, I forget. I think you might also need Raidraptor Link (Force Strix?).

Pure Synchrons wouldn't be playable, but instead Stardust centric select Synchrons would still have plenty of plays. I mean people figured out 2-3 Quasar plays 10 years ago. Granted level eater will probably be one of the most broken cards of all time due to the sheer amount of combos it resulted in throughout its legality and would've straight up destroyed the game with Links. Without Level Eater, some of those combos are defunct. But the Stardust stuff and Assault Synchron will basically be like way more than enough for all the combo's missing pieces by themselves.

Though if they also banned Hyper Librarian then uhh... well you'd have to barf your whole hand for a Quasar or two perhaps

The temptation to ditch the Red-Eyes cards except BMD+REDMD but I want to make Red-Eyes work...even if it's mostly Bystial.

Im thinking of removing the scrap engine entirely for the Dinowrestler tuner. And am going to test out Piri Reis Map as a extra searcher for Animadorned.

Swordsoul is still crazy consistent even with MoYe to 1. Had a funny duel against Naturia. We went head to head with PEP but they miscalculated lifepoints by 100 and put me in a position to out them.

I faced a PUNK who for some reason synchro Amazing Dragon in their own turn.

And they scooped because I was racking my brain on how to end on Crystal Wing to out their PEP.

Amazing Dragon turn 1 is fine if you have access to one extra lvl 3 tuner on the field. You use the revival effect and end up with mostly the same board. The big diff is now you have a 3000/2800 bod on the field in case something goes horribly wrong.

I can probably make a lot of changes to my PUNK deck. I saw that Bystials with Assault Synchron were basically just several free extenders from hand in this deck that has a built in pot of greed.

But my Bystial pulls are dooky and I need to craft 2 more Assault and 2 Lube aaaargh, UR guarantee on this pack seriously not effin helpin

But Empen limit doesn't really hurt Floos that much. Small hit to their power but like you kinda usually need 1.

Eradicator limit is... possibly due to the fact that it solo won a finals recently in a TCG tournament lmao. I'm guessing that means Lady Labrynth is coming soon. Labrynth has legs and will eventually become one of the strongest deck of a format in the coming future

BFusion deserves to be semi'd, maybe limit is harsh. This reduces the chance for a cold open, and Aluber is semi'd too which doubly makes it less consistent. They still got Verte, which is almost never a good place to be in for a Branded, meaning in Red and Fusion are still gonna have to be the main leg.

Jet semi is probably deserved, along with Frog, that's a big Spright consistency hit. But Pixies or even 1-2 additional Red or Carrot will easily replace these slots. Also uhh... cuz of Sprind, they're strong af. I'm shocked Elf is still alive

Hard calling it now, the best deck of this format is gonna be Tri-Brigade Sprights, just like how it kinda was in OCG for a bit while. Labrynth will get a huge boost and probably meta, Branded Tear will be strong. Lots of decks are gonna merge rather than play pure, though Spright pure will probably be pretty strong still

Floowandereeze haven't been a problem since the Barrier Statue ban, and that was like 4-5 banlist hits ago. Every hit since then was just knocking the birds down even more when their wings are already long since clipped. Imagine being so mindbroken by birds that you can look at what Tearlaments, Sprights, and Branded are doing right now and say with a straight face "We ShOuLd HiT fLoOwAnDeReEzE aGaIn".

Having concurrent events really had me playing a lot more master duel this month. Turns out having an alternative to ranked that still gives rewards makes the game much more fun.

That said getting just enough new cards helped too. Ritual Dogmatika is a fun distraction and I like the anti extra archetype. Ghoti was very fun to actually play and its decent even though I only have one field spell and Deep Beyond. I also played a lot of Amazoness for the fusion festival and its funny how many decks can't out assault.

First time I ever played an event long enough to get the title and I even did it for both events.

I would rather face Tearlaments over Floow.

Seriously. Its just annoying to play against and it just does a weird game flow for Yugioh.

I've have much success in the synchro event with dinosaurs. Only losing hard to most things if my opponent resolves Maxx C. Since I can't OTK with my build.

Otherwise my optimal turn 1 board is UCT+ Barrone+Misc in hand.

The floo nerfs again are pretty sad. My guesses to why are...
*It's a cheap high tier deck
*It's floodgate focused
*Doesn't care about the most common staples like Maxx C, called by, DD Crow, and cross out
*Probably one of the most hated decks in MD

Sounds like the opposite of my time in the Legends event. I had 4 games where I drew the one of Vision Hero Increase in my opening hand. I some how managed to win like 3/4 but damn was that annoying. For reference it basically tanks any value Faris has to Summon Vyon to get to Poly

Syncho Event has been much better. Adamancepators were fun to play even though I have Swordsoul as my main deck now.

Runick is pretty great for extending duels

Why did I spend 1k gems on Appliancers...
