Technically I should but I'm not currently, actively prescribed anything.

I'm also very terrible at taking medicine.

If I had to be on a medicine regiment to stay alive, I'd be dead

I assume those that don't take their medicine is because of price? I know my medicine can be expensive.

I take Tacrolimus , Mycophenclate , Pravistatin , Carvedilol, Prednisolone I have to take these or else I die to put it bluntly. they come with a few side effects such as depression, weight gain, weight loss, mood swings, confusion, drowsiness, anxiety, constipation, diarrhea, erratic dreams, nightmares, difficulty falling asleep, difficulty staying asleep, headaches, pain in joints, particular back muscles, feet and back, dizziness, weakness, slowed reaction time, extreme hunger, extreme thirst, blurred vision, frequent urination, lightheadedness, memory loss, forgetfulness, heartburn, loss of appetite, increased appetite, slow healing from cuts, bruises, increased sweating, odd weight distribution, increased vulnerability to various illnesses and hindered decision making.

i've experienced almost all of these for the better point of my life and have no recollation of the type of person I used to be before I started taking these medications, they really haven't done good for my mental health but the doctors have no suggestions and society itself doesn't like it when you try to explain a sudden outburst of emotion on some pills

Early 40s. Ive really improved my diet in the past several months and have dropped from almost 220 pounds to 197 (as of today, new record low in quite some time), but as of my last checkup the numbers were still high. Going to get rechecked in a few months and will see where things are at.

I try to go on a walk at least 3-4x/week, but probably still need to exercise more. But on the other hand, I feel like the damage has already been done from many years of not taking super great care of myself and working a desk job. Eating poorly, zero exercise, smoking/vaping, drinking too much, etc etc

Aspirin 81 due to slight plaque in carotid
Vitamin d, omega 3 and b's
Used to take high blood pressure and anxiety meds, but was able to wean off them with lifestyle changes. Still my produces too much cholesterol so my numbers can be slightly above the threshold so I take some natural statins (comb of coq10, red rice yeast and other stuff,) every now and then.

Way too many. A bunch of pills and 4 needles a day for blood thinners. I'm hoping to be off the blood thinners next month, which would give my stomach a much needed rest, as its left it with bruises, and it stings when I inject myself now. I was supposed to hear back from the thrombosis clinic at least a month ago, but they never did call, so I'm extremely concerned about that, but I'll find out more when I talk to my doctor on the 12th.

Yups, Depakote and Vimpat for seizures, although I haven't had one in years. I would rather not risk trying to come off those, considering that having an episode ran the risk of serious injury, and most of the time gave me a massive headache and left me so tired I would have to sleep the rest of the day :<

Yea. 40 years old and with sickle cell related stuff.

Hydroxyurea usually twice a day for blood cell stuffs, ER morphine sulfate pills twice a day for pain coverage throughout the day, oxycodone IR for that "oh shit, I am getting my ass kicked by this pain I need something now" pain. I also get my over the counter folic acid and vatimin D in.

Its a lot of pain and not a good time in general.

I am super lucky that I don't have that issue. Lucky enough to get all the positive effects and none of the negatives lol

My doctor says it's because my biology was likely designed for these hormones. I don't care much for trans medicalism but it was really affirming to hear early on.
