Cody claims to have tracked Lea to MZero, ergo if Cody if town, Lea both cannot be a ninja and is confirmed to target someone other than Wall. This makes Lea confirmed town according to your claim, unless Cody and Lea are both scum.

It's a glaring contradiction between claim and action.

I feel pretty good about Chang/Crescent/SBell, the Day 1 Joyrock group. I could see one of them possibly being Scum, but I can't see any way a majority of them are Scum unless everything I've learned about retroactively analyzing votes is out the window. Would lean SBell > Crescent > Chang right now if there is Scum here.

Chris has handed out two Goldeen, I feel good about him at this point.

Ulti has been all over the place, his beetles not matching his reads has been pointed out.

MZero and Wallz are both tied to Lea. If she flips Scum with no beneficial Scum item, they are cleared. If there are Scum buff items, then one or both are caught. A Town Lea flip wouldn't be as definitive for them, but would warrant a closer look.

That leaves Corrik/Plum/Red/Lea. I obviously think Lea is Scum, she voted me over Ulti when I confirmed who she visited last night, while Ulti is preaching to lynch her with his own beetle logic saying she is Town. Plum looks real bad if Lea flips Town, otherwise I'm fine with him. My process of elimination says Scum is would include Corrik and/or Red then.

Lea/Ulti are my two most confident Scum reads. From there I'd look at Corrik/Red, as well as Plum/MZero/Wallz pending Lea's flip.

Its possible lea could have used an action on a scummate to try to trick us into thinking Mzero is confirmed town, but that seems unlikely.

So depending on what item lea used we should be able to prove both Wallz and Mzero are town

If this happened I feel like it would have to be beneficial instead of burning a harmful item on a teammate. The odds of you watching whoever she targeted again were slim, and my Track wasn't a guarantee as I could have went for Gunsmith.

I think I was a reasonable bodyguard target anyway considering we saw role cop flip and the actual kill was ctes, and I was pretty widely being read as town

Yeah, I would put Mzero at like 90% town if she used an action on him.

But its not iron clad guaranteed turn your brain off confirmed if she used a scan on him or something

My point is ulti claims his beetles detect scum item use but he has to select the priority levels. He picked high and normal. If Lea is scum then ulti is also lying

Wallz N1 while requiring no RB targeting wallz N1 is bad
Her protection of Joyrock is bad
Her lack of changing her mind ever is bad

You can argue against any of these points individually but the preponderance of evidence is extremely clear

Per Ulti's updated Day 3 role explanation, I assume I would actively choose to Backup the role, passively acquire the one beetle at day end, and then actively choose to send the one beetle out at night, with no additional beetles.

If it sees an item used, I see it. If it does NOT see an item used, an item the scum team used is randomly selected from other priorities.

Hey y'all. Not kept up with this day particularly well and I've been reading on almost exclusively gut as an observer. I'm meant to be retired and my old corpse was dragged into this game kicking and screaming but god damn do y'all need some help based on what I saw D1. Also, SBell, if you killed Death and are Town you need some extra on top. Fella was practically screaming his alignment from the rooftops.

I'll also add that Wallz is practically confirmed Town and we are never lynching him under any circumstances. Having observed him as both alignments, it's very, very obvious - he's more comfortable and jokey as Town (I think someone pointed out early this game that he is Funny this time round), and I'm not sure how else to explain it but it's night and day. MZero is in a similar category, but it's more with his activity and observations - I don't have anything as concrete to point towards, but I'm never lynching the fella because I just don't see any universe where he's Scum. Plus we have the Lea scan which I'm pretty confident on at this stage and basically confirms him.

Now, speaking of Scum... I had what I believe to be a decent scumlist D2, and it consisted of Lea, Crescent, Chang, Cody and one of Joyrock/Chris (specifically one of two, I don't remember why and I could not for the life of me tell you the reasoning). Basically all on gut and surface reads, but I do want to lay it out because I think my surface reads are frankly good and there's a chance I die tonight (I had all the scum team bar Chris D1 in Star Trek and that's the worst Town game I've played in years). The only one I've particularly changed my mind on right now is Cody? I honestly think I missed his claim when I made that list, and I just don't see a scenario where a new scum claims so early under so little pressure. He's probably aight.

Anyway, I'm pretty chill with the Lea lynch, she's caught and just rolling over by the looks of it which, understandable. That said... I've kinda got somewhere else I'd like to look before EoD, if anyone would like to join me in a crusade?

I agree about sbell killing death looking bad. I dont care much that he claimed it unnecessarily, because it mightve been calculated in a game with plenty of town power. I need to iso, but Im curious if sbell made any effort to question death and air his concerns.

MZero, can I ask for your case on Ulti? I'm almost certain you're Town, but I'm also feeling pretty good about Ulti right now (albeit with a tiny hint of paranoia on occasion). He felt far too confident under pressure yesterday to be Scum Ulti, imo.

Town case on Ulti is that he spent fuckin ages going back and forth with Chris and didn't crack completely once. Ulti as scum is shit-scared of Chris (who I very much think is Town here based on the end of D2). He's been a little inconsistent and all over the place, but that's Ulti for you. I just don't see the scum angle.

I will say that having picked topic 5 at semi-random to start from, I don't think there were any scum on the Ulti lynch at this point. Then again, I think Scum have mostly been staying under the radar this game, and I currently reckon the only scum who voted at this stage was Lea? Might be a case of them seeing that we were heading in the wrong directions and letting us make mistakes. I wanna go back and see how Lea responded to Ulti throughout D2.

He's nowhere near miserable enough for scum who's just read innumerable pages of fish discourse.
