Very. I almost certainly have CTE but not much I can do about that. I'm on zoloft and medical cannabis though.

My demons and I are old pals now. I'd probably try therapy if I could afford it.

rather seriously, but not pro-actively... I keep track of my panic attacks and food to find what causes what, and that's about it

I have anxiety issues. Tried some meds they didn't work and CBT too. At this point I don't do anything about it outside of mindfulness stuff, going for walks and the like. I guess I should be on meds really.

I meditate daily and do a lot of shadow work. These practices have been super beneficial to me, much more so than prescription meds or weed.

I take care of it well enough, but I have never been prone to depression and I have a generally pretty positive outlook on life and I have a very healthy relationship with myself.

I do get anxiety which other than weed I don't really manage it. Anxiety is mainly work related and also really, really silly. I know anxiety is a real problem and everything, but I consider it silly because it kind of it. Last year around this time I had high anxiety because I did something dumb at work and I was waiting for somebody to rip my ass to shreds. That didn't quite happen. Now I look back at it and laugh.

I am not perfect, but I fare very well.

Luckily, I don't have any serious issues with my mental health. I get a little anxiety from some small existential crises every now and then but nothing that keeps me up at night or anything. I feel like I probably have a touch of undiagnosed adhd but my life is fine as is and I don't wanna mess with any medication

I drank because I enjoyed a drink and it helped my anxiety in a good way but now my drink has become a problem as I drink everyday. I'm cutting down though by docs orders.

If I cried out loud
All the sorrows I've known
And the secrets I've heard

It would ease my mind
Someone sharing the load
But I won't breathe a word

We're two of a kind
Silence and I
We need a chance to talk things over

Two of a kind
Silence and I
We'll find a way to work it out

That's how it is. Most days I drank cause I just wanted to. But if I was ever stressed or on the rare occasion anxious it would cure it.

It's pretty easy to not take things seriously or get worried. Most people put too much importance in things that aren't important, or they also compare themselves and their success to others and get depressed if they don't meet those standards. My motto is, "if you ever feel overwhelmed, just remember that you're going to die". It immediately relaxes me, and causes me to live in the moment and enjoy life.

That's definitely not true for everyone. That was easier for me before I had my daughter though. Now pretty much all my worrying is for her. I never even used to consider my mortality but now with her I've started to take better care of my self because she needs me around

I don't have a therapist or meds or anything but I have made some changes on my own to address some the issues I have. Such as having alarms and reminders in place so I don't forget important things due to my brain wandering, and constantly reminding myself not to worry about things I can't control or be afraid of making mistaeks.

I think most can if they work at it. That's basically how Cognitive Behavioral Therapy works IIRC: identifying your negative thoughts and countering them with more positive and realistic ones over time.

Not as easy as that. For example I'll feel heart palpation due to anxiety, my brain tells me it's my heart and I'll have a heart attack and the cycle repeats. This is just one symptom I get with anxiety and they are many.

My motto is, "if you ever feel overwhelmed, just remember that you're going to die". It immediately relaxes me, and causes me to live in the moment and enjoy life.

This won't work for me as I fear death. Even though it's futile to do so.

That and stuff like mindfulness. Being in the now and not wondering "what if?". Anxiety always likes to ask that question and it isn't easy to stop that question being asked. I do enjoy guided meditations with mindfulness stuff that sorta helps but other than that CBT didn't work for me and as I didn't want meds again the doc said they can't help me. :3

CBT never worked for me, cause my negative thoughts have been rooted in reality that already happened and continued to happen. Sooooo

EMDR and some DBT is more geared for people with trauma. Like, reality can very much be shit, let's just deal with how to function with that.

and Prozac helped with the worst periods

but EMDR has had the biggest positive improvement with my life

but that's specific to what you need. Therapy isn't one size fits all. CBT works for some.
