Welcome to Round 73 of Save my Smash Assist Trophy, the Save my where all assist trophies (even the ones absent in Ultimate) battle until there is only one left.

The rules have changed. Please read the rules before you make a post.

Rules (Stolen from UnderUrMattress):

• You personally (no bots/scripts/lending of accounts) can save 1 assist trophy per hour.
• An assist trophy needs 7 votes to be saved.
• 7 unique users need to save an assist trophy for that assist trophy to be saved.
• Ambiguous saves will not count.
• Last assist trophy unsaved is eliminated.
• No alts, rallies, trades, or editing votes.
• Only _Keeby can start up new topics.
• Community Rule is in effect. Deliberate rules violations will result in bans.
• Have fun!

(This might just be the only assist trophy to be directly based on a real life person. Yes, really.

For those who dont know what Brain Age is, its basically a series of brain teasers that claim to improve your memory, all in a convenient package. It originated on the DS, taking clear advantage of the systems touch screen, and while initially predating the Touch! Generations branding created for Nintendos games on the DS and Wii intended for a more casual audience, both it and its sequel were eventually grouped under the label. The games sold well, and sequels have released for 3DS (which took a really long time to release in Europe and Australia for some reason) and Switch (which didnt release in North America).

The doctor (who takes the appearance of a disembodied, floating, polygonal head) can be summoned as an assist trophy in 4 and Ultimate. He attacks using the explosive capabilities of addition. Lets just be grateful his devil form from Concentration Training doesnt show up

Unlike the previous few rounds that had the eliminated characters lagging behind in saves, this round was very close. Also, congrats to UltimaterializerX, who was the only one to make two saves this round.

This is it. The final two. Moon from The Legend of Zelda and Zero from Mega Man. These contestants outdid 73 others. Now, they must battle eachother in a heated match.

Dr Kawashima was the one I was kinda pulling for all along, even though he wasn't always the first one I saved (I was also rooting for Color TV Game for awhile too, but that fell pretty early). I saved him more for his assist trophy function than as an actual character. The numbers attacking opponents is kinda funny. 3rd is way better than I was expecting - he got great support the last few rounds.

I just learned that Dr. Kawashima had several other brain training games developed under his name, like on iOS and Xbox 360 with Kinect.

I backed Kawashima a lot during the later rounds, but for these last rounds, I shifted towards backing an actual Nintendo rep to be a finalist, which we now have.

That said, I'll likely still go with Zero for the final round.

Zero was my second favorite, I just never needed to save him until recently.
