Kemono Friends released today. The gameplay is sort of unique for a gacha, being slingshot style similar to Angry Birds.

I do have some experience about getting absurdly lucky in FGO when AK shits on me lol.(Back in January did 200 pulls in Gavialter's banner and didn't get her, but I got 3 copies of Space Ishtar in 50 pulls).

Took another 50 pulls to get Reed so pretty good overall.

Had to be some pain though. Not enough materials to e2 Reed and still being lazy in chapter 9. Her needed materials are in chapter 11 :(

People fought hard for it back in the days. It's to this day the biggest post I ever made on Reddit about rising up against their greedy ways. They actually kinda listened to us then, but they never budged on unequip costs. If that didn't do it, I feel like only a straight up risk of game's EoS would ever make them budge on unequip costs being gone. It's such a dumb idea that's so obvious why it exists, cuz money is only feasibly gained by just keep playing the game

Well I mean theres an alternative semi-solution that the game has where you can temporarily equip gear to see how your stats would look and compare it and stuff, which is really good. But then you still have to pay if you want to switch :<

Gold has never been a problem for me though. I have 50 million+ even though Im an officer in my guild so I have to buy 2 of the guild buffs if they ever run out, which are 200K each. I still hate paying 50K to unequip just because its annoying though lol

Speaking of basic QoL that took forever to add, PGR just got a Claim All button for dailies and weeklies with this patch. The last patch added a proper Quick Clear button for event currency farming instead of talking to an NPC but you still have to get to max Authority Level to unlock it.

Yeah gold in E7 is mostly a problem once you start diving into its equip system. Upgrading a single shit costed like 2-10 mil or so and that entirely depended on if you maxed it out completely. You do this process like over and over cuz of the RNG bullshit.

My phone/laptop wasn't good enough to be running e7 24/7, which really hurt my gold income too at the time.

Okay, got Karenina Scire to SS3 and she's pretty much set up to go. I also got Selena Capriccio to SSS with BP currency. She will need hypertuning but I'm out of materials. At least my dark team is powered up!

Ive seen lifetime passes in a few games, and most of the time I buy them unless the game is total ass. Most are good because they have bonuses in addition to gems. Like one that I remember had a storage system that could hold up to 300 extra stamina. I wish more games would have more of this stuff.

Finally beat 20-31 in Nikke and can work on her liberation to never use her useless arse.

Would anyone happen to know of any good shelter building games that dont have people invading in real time? Fallout Shelter was fun for me until my base just randomly got infested with a shitton of mole rats <_<

American Dad Apocalypse Soon was also pretty good except it has the mechanic of people invading your base :((

Until the end of the month, we get 3k jewels each day Twinkle is #1 on Fanza's popularity ranking.

Twinkle Star Knights has given out 100+ rolls in the ~2 weeks it's been out already, so I get that it can't last forever, but still, I don't think a game launch has ever been *this* popular or successful.

If only rate-up wasn't a lie. Out of 10 SSRs (not counting the tutorial and pre-reg), only two were proper rate-ups. Fucking four of them were an off-banner dupe, and one that I don't care for, unfortunately.

Yeah, we're just finishing up the cat event (which is somehow incredibly depressing compared to the upbeat dog event), then next event is a pirate-themed event, then supposedly, summer part 2. Don't expect Nier until September at the earliest.

Hmmm September... I wonder if it's worth it to try playing to hoard resources until then or just reroll for her when the time comes.

Snowbreak: Containment Zone goes live on the 20th of July @ 10 am China Standard Time. Here on the west coast of the U.S., that's 7 pm (UTC-7, DST) on the 19th. You can adjust from those two time zones accordingly or use World Time Buddy. As for what type of game it is, it's an anime 3rd-person shooter action-RPG set in a sci-fi, post-cataclysm city on Earth that borrows heavily from Norse mythology.

It says you can pre-download the game but I've seen several reports of broken download links, so maybe try after the game launches or something. The client is on the usual mobile platforms and there's a PC client.

Remember that this is a new game launch, so temper your expectations. Bad launches are known to be a thing. This one could go either way. I played the game in the recent beta and, while it was rather rough around the edges and on the easy side, I think the game has promise. Hopefully the devs won't screw this one up but we'll see.

Once you complete a certain stage in Chapter 5, you'll get a selector ticket to receive one free top rarity character of your choosing. I can't comment on every one of them but I really liked Yao: Winter Solstice for her normal skill's powerful ammo. It's great on single targets. YMMV.

Most of the gameplay vids are from the beta test and the devs have updated the game with new stuff since, like new boss mechanics, you can take cover behind obstacles, and so on. If you want to see the CBT footage, just search "Snowbreak Containment Zone gameplay" on YouTube (mines the "" of course). This video from one Youtuber (yes, I know, I know) goes over the new stuff that will be in the final release while showing plenty of gameplay. If you've ever played a 3rd-person shooter game before, you should already have an idea of what to expect here.

As for exactly when the game will be live in your time zone, I just use World Time Buddy, plug in the city that has the appropriate time zone (or UTC), make sure the time you're converting from has the little house icon, then select the date and time. It does the rest with no added fuss.

I dunno if you'll like it or not, let alone keep you occupied for three weeks. I'm at least hoping the game's refinement went well because the beta version a month ago was a bit...raw, if you know what I mean. A lot of waifus though and they cover the usual tropes. You'll probably find at least one you'll like, I think.

FPS drives headache for me at this age, and I only liked OG Ghost Recon back then.

As long as you can use cover to your advantage, I find 3rd person shooters to be slower and more methodical than FPS games. See the mob of enemies, get behind cover, plan out your targets, and pop them one at a time with the ones closing in on you getting priority. You can do run n' gun if you want too, if you don't mind taking a lot of risks. I'm at least hoping the enemy AI is better because it was laughably easy in the beta -- enemies would often just stand there like idiots while you shoot them and enemy fire didn't really do all that much damage. You could effortlessly walk through crowds and take your time picking each one off. It wasn't a very frequent situation where you were in any real danger.

From my time playing the beta, try to upgrade your weapon to as high of a rarity one as you can pull ASAP. Even a 4* weapon (purple) is pretty decent to tide you over than the basic one your character starts with. Don't forget your teammates' support skills and switch when you need to. Also, try to make your team as follows: one that specializes in AoE and crowd control for grouped enemies, one that specializes in single target damage, and the last one to support the team with what they lack (healing or whatever). Team synergy and balance is important.

The game will start you off with Lyfe, Fenny, and Acacia for free when the tutorial section is done. That's not a terrible team but I replaced Acacia because she was overlapping too much with Lyfe for my tastes. You'll get some other free characters in the first few chapters, so play around with team builds until you find one you like. Each character specializes in a gun type: Lyfe uses SMGs, Fenny is the shotgun girl, Yao is a sniper, Acacia uses handguns.

Upgrading character skills are nice but I found upgrading the weapon and character levels first helped more.

I'll give Snowbreak a try, I don't enjoy playing action games like PGR on phone, but maybe a shooter will be different.

Got the PC launcher set up and I just finished pre-downloading the game. The game server should be live in about 3.5 hours. Good to know that the launcher music is the same as the beta. It's a good song, imo. I don't know if it's okay to post it here but you can easily find it on YT and give it a listen. Search "Snowbreak Containment Zone OST Fimbulvetr". It'll be on the Kazdel Team channel. The vocals are done by Kinoko, if you've heard her singing before.

The game is live but there are reports of lag spikes and motion blur. I'm watching FG3000 play it on PC and it's a bit choppy. After tweaking the settings, it's a little better but it looks like the game needs a patch to optimize things more.

I have to step out but I'll start playing it when I get back home.
