I love Bowsette, but when it comes to to things Nintendo "should" do, she's pretty far down on the list.

Bowsette is the best thing to come out of mario in at least a decade. So I agree.

Nintendo could have made some easy money with a non-porn game giving Bowsette an adventure of her own, and I could have given them the plot and basic concept of gameplay to work with, but they veered hard into "no" territory. No, the only easy money Nintendo has wanted since the Wii era has been to take down Youtube videos that say ANYTHING, good or bad, about them or their games, and take in the Youtube revenue those content creators would have made; like some con artist who hires people to make or do stuff and never pays for the work. Yeah, I have no respect for the company of late.

Bowsette is a funny internet thing that I don't want Nintendo to canonize.

I'd be happy with the SMO idea they had, though, where Bowser would use his own version of "Cappy" (don't know if it would have been Tiara or some other character) to capture Peach, which creates a fusion of Bowser and Peach, as presumably, the final boss.

I'm also glad people are realizing that Bowsette should be a Peach clone. There were debates early on, if Bowser should look like Peach with Bowser cosplay or female human Bowser, but the latter makes no sense as the power-up literally turns Toadette into a Peach clone.

The name thing was always confusing Like, it works because of how the word ette works But the name for Peachette wasnt based on the same ette that Bowsette was based on But whatever

Based on Peachette's naming, Bowsette probably should have been Peachser, but that doesn't quite roll off the tongue as well.

For what it's worth, Japan just calls Bowsette "Koopa-hime" (princess Koopa).

I hope the guy who made the og bowsette comic puts it on his resume when applying for jobs
