In general I'm not afraid of either, but if you put them both on either side of me, I'm moving towards the spider.

yeah I have no real fear of snakes because theres basically no risk of a snake being anywhere near me

I guess in the proper environment, I might be concerned about snakes, but I am constantly concerned about spiders. I have trouble even looking at pictures.

I've never even seen a snake in real life, but images of them have never frightend me or anything like that. Spiders, on the other hand, are freaky for real.

I have more of a phobia response to spiders but I've worked on it a lot and I wouldn't say I really fear them, it's not like most of them can do anything to me.

Snakes I don't have a phobia of but I'd definitely give them more of a respectful distance than spiders. If I need to get a snake out of my house I'm getting a broom, for a spider I'd probably just use my hands.

So snakes I guess...?

Eh

I think spiders, because I can't always see them AND Im like "is this poisonous? I dont know"

But there are 100% like snakes where I live, like literally in my yard sometimes. SO there's that.

Spiders might not actually be insects but they are close enough to my mind and I HATE insects with a passion. Fear, disgust, whatever. So spiders.

Snakes can be kinda cool. Obviously there are very dangerous varieties and you should never mess with wild ones of almost any type, but I've known some people with pet snakes and they can be pretty neat. I'd never have one, personally, but still.

Most spiders I come across and I'm likely to come across are itty bitty fellers who are just there to eat more annoying insects, so I hardly mind them.

As for snakes, though I rarely come across them (and especially undomesticated ones), they're pretty fast and they can make me panic and hurt myself, even if their actual danger level is negligible.

Also I've heard stories about snakes crawling up draining pipes and show up inside toilet bowls, so that's fun.

I don't know the last time I've come by a snake, I feel like it was as a child on a camping trip and we enjoyed chasing it around

my current bedroom however is literally sharing a wall with a spider den from the pits of hell

Opposite of fear for me, I love both. I've had pet snakes and a tarantula before and they're awesome. If I see a snake in the wild and I'm certain it isn't venomous I will try to catch it. And if a spider is somewhere it's not supposed to be (like my bed) I'll pick it up and move it to a safer location.

I like having spiders around since they kill annoying bugs for me.
