I'm still using a PS/2 keyboard. In 20 years I haven't had a complaint about it.

I'm still using the basic Acer keyboard that came with a prebuilt I got 15+ years ago. Nothing special, but it still works just fine. Current mouse is a 6-year-old Razer Diamondback, selected pretty much entirely because it was the only ambidextrous mouse I could find that had extra buttons (I use lefty mouse most of the time, swapping to righty mouse for WASD-based gaming). It does the job, though it's started to occasionally register extra clicks on the left button and the scroll wheel is getting a little inconsistent, so its days may be numbered.

Logitech G502 for a mouse.

I love my G11 keyboard, but I'm not sure they make it anymore. It's got 18 macro keys, and they can be programmed in 3 banks, so you can have 54 different macros.

Idk about "best", but I definitely do enjoy having an LED keyboard and mouse. Both Razer brand, sync'd rainbow color fade, constantly cycling slowly. Dedicated DPI change by the click wheel is cool if you have different sensitivites for certain apps. Additional "forward" and "back" (as in web pages) buttons on the mouse instead of having to click them on the browser is a bonus.

Ive decided on the Corsair K100 RGB optic-something or other.

For Mouse I have these considerations but I like wired:
  • Razer Basilisk V3 Pro
  • SteelSeries 5 Gaming Mouse
  • Logitech G502 X Lightspeed

I'm so horribly spoiled by this.

I just kept looking for a mechanical keyboard under $100 and eventually found a G.SKILL one with cherry brown keyswitches. It's comfortable but at the end of the day I'd take a different keyboard, it just took watching sales online for a month or so.

Same with mice...I just used the same $20 one (Rosewill M59) that looked decent for 6 years - although I just picked up a Razer Basilisk 3 on sale (somewhere in the $70 range). It was still kinda pricey but I had cash to burn and I like the larger thumb rest.

So far I do actually like the Basilisk 3 a fair bit. Scew the Pro, the non-pro is the same but wired. Only thing that was weird was the 'scroll acceleration' because it accelerates way too fast. The scroll wheel feels good though. The biggest factor is the overall comfort, which I like.

Agree on the Logitech G502, it is what I have. Awesome mouse. Battery life is decent too if you use it in wireless mode. Usually only have to charge it once a month with regular usage.
