Ze/Zir is used in place of someone's name as a kind of weird "pronoun noun" but otherwise it's mostly just they/them. The main difference, I suppose, comes in the form of familiarity. They/them is used when you do not know the person's gender while all of them are used even if you do (sans, IIRC, Ve/Ver, which is more of a "screw you, you don't get to know my gender"). --- "A shouted order to do something of dubious morality with an unpredictable outcome? Most of the neopronouns only see use in the form of "lol, look at what those CrZaY libs are up to now!" while no one actually ever used them. Like, "co" was literally just a discussion piece someone wrote in the 70's about the concept of gender recognition. And even in the paper they specifically called out using "they/them" when not knowing a person's gender.
