Location of the fight: Gangplank Galleon - K. Rools flagship, as it appears in Donkey Kong Country. Attackers start where DK and Diddy spawn in the boss fight, while defenders start where K. Rool spawns. Access to DK Island is denied, though the waters outside are fair game. Which side will win? Guidelines -The fight will occur in real-time (like an FMV sequence). Gameplay mechanics are less important than how the characters would function in a real-time environment. -The members of each team are ideal teammates capable of executing a prearranged battle plan. -Unless stated otherwise, characters have access to their full arsenal of abilities and equipment. They may not always work at full power, however (e.g. a petrifying spell may have only a partial hindering effect not seen in gameplay or even fail outright against sufficiently powerful mercenaries). Use your own discretion. -No mercenary can ever start in a location where they would die instantly, destroy the arena merely by existing in it, or end up ringed out of the terrain before abilities. If there's no room within a terrain to fit them, the terrain will stretch out until there's at least one yard of available, moving, safe space. Attacks may not damage the terrain enough to cause automatic deaths or ring-outs, save with a concerted effort. -There may be SPOILERS from all of the games the characters are from. Leon Kennedy is as he appears in the Resident Evil series, including canonical supplementary media. He comes into battle with his two Wing Shooter pistols, his knife, a Lightning Hawk magnum, a handful of grenades and the Chicago Typewriter, all fully upgraded. Rika Furude is as she appears throughout Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. She has no equipment other than her school uniform and a mop, and is pretty much exactly as terrible at fighting as you would expect a ten year old girl to be. Claude is as he appears in Fire Emblem: Three Houses at the end of the Verdant Wind path as a Barbarossa. He has access to his entire Barbarossa moveset from Three Hopes, along with the Charm, Gauntletbreaker, Ward Arrow, Wind God, and Seeker of Greatness abilities, with effects from both Three Houses and Three Hopes. He is equipped with Failnaught, a Magic Bow, a Venin Bow, an Aurora Shield, and a Concoction. He has no battalion equipped, but may execute the Poison Tactic gambit if he has allies nearby. ~VS~ Kazuma Kiryu is as he appears in the Yakuza series, at the peak of his fighting prowess. He comes into battle equipped with three bottles of Staminan Royale, the Ama-no-Murakumo blade, Extremely Sturdy Brass Knuckles, a 9mm handgun with unlimited ammo, the Transcendent Body Armor and a motorcycle. He may use any of his fighting styles, Heat Actions and techniques as he sees fit, and starts the battle with full Heat, which will not drain unless used. He will serve as a third party in the fight, with no loyalty to either team, though he will not necessarily attack anyone on sight, instead acting as his personality would suggest them to act. He is not a valid choice of victor. ~VS~ King K. Rool is as he appears in Donkey Kong 64. He has access to his techniques and weapons from Donkey Kong Country 2, DK Jungle Climber, and his Super Smash Bros. Ultimate moveset, with the exception of his final smash, game mechanics like shielding, turning invincible, or Mega K. Rool. And yes, he can turn invisible. He has taken B.J. Blazkowicz's Schockhammer and is considered to be given a full breakdown on how the thing he took works and will be able to use it to at least an acceptable degree of competency (e.g. Sora's Keyblade won't instantly disappear from his hand). If K. Rools entire team is defeated, he will automatically revive at full health after his last teammate has fallen, including himself. His body will have vanished, and he will launch an automatic sneak attack on whatever remains of the enemy team the moment that they would have normally won. If the weapon he took has ammunition, all ammo will immediately be restored if the sneak attack is triggered. Gangplank Galleon, as it appears in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, will begin blaring loudly over the terrain once K. Rool's ambush is triggered, overriding other music. He will be unable to be defeated until the song has looped once (2:29 duration); he will simply bounce back from damage and ignore injury until then. He has a permanent Shell, Reflect and Regen set of status effects for this fight. B.J. Blazkowicz is as he appears in Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, in his Ubersoldat body, with his full arsenal seen therein. Zagreus is as he appears in Hades, having completed a successful Extreme Measures 4 run. He has access to all of the purple upgrades of the Mirror of Night, save for Fated Authority, and comes into battle with Stygius, Exagryph and Aegis, in their Arthur, Eris and Chaos forms, respectively, with no Hammers applied. He has access to the boons of Zeus, Poseidon, Zeus, Zeus and Zeus for his Attack, Special, Cast, Dash and Call abilities, plus all of the passive boons of Zeus to supplement his power sans Duo boons, all at their highest possible rarity, which will all apply as favourably as possible even if they would normally contradict each other. In addition, he may use Hades' call and Greater Call in place of his normal call as he sees fit. His most favored limb has come off. He will feel no pain from losing it, but will have to make do without it for the duration of the fight. He has been challenged by Kazuma Kiryu, and will be so incensed by Kiryu's challenge that he will prioritize defeating him above all other enemies upon meeting him. Banjo & Kazooie are as they appear in Banjo-Tooie. They have access to all of their moves and upgrades, including Proximity Eggs, may use Pad abilities without needing a pad, and have the Feathers, Eggs, Fallproof, Honeyback, and Homing Cheato codes active. They also have access to their Super Smash Bros. Ill grant that due to missing an arm using the adamant rail is gonna be a little more clumsy but this vid really show off how ridiculous the zeus powers can be on it and even at non maximum efficiency its ridiculous. https://youtu.be/tLHzENfI8mY I also have shield which would look a little like this: https://youtu.be/nUZoYkW0d78 at around the 33 minute marknyou start to see a lot of what this build looks like. The shield really only takes one good hand to use properly. I opted for Chaos aspect which shoots 6 ricocheting shields captain america styles after a bull rush attack but the big thing here is lightning. These shields all have poseidon effects, pushing a foe backward and making space for Zag if he needs it. But Zags sword use style is very one handed and Zag is fairly ambidextrous as he does switch his sword hand at times in his animations. He can at bare minimum still make good use of his sword special. And with Arthur aspect this is a beefier Zag, and one who gains a bit of extra dodge time just for holding the sword? Why is this important? Because Zag in this form barely even has to ever attack to just fill the screen with untold amounts of lightning. Why? Because it SO MUCH LIGHTNING. Lightning when he dashes. Lightning when you try to hit Zag and he dodges. Lightning when you try to hit Zag and succeed. If youve been struck by lightning and dare to attack anyone? You get struck by lightning. Lightning casts that ricochet to other nearby targets when it strikes. And god gauge - gaining with each passing moment and with all damage dealt and recieved at a very fast rate. And what does that do? Even more lightning, this time provided by Zeus himself. Gangplank Galleon is basically a box unless your merc can fly or swim extraordinarily well and none of the enemy team can other than Claude and well - Barbarossas take extra damage from ranged attacks which pretty well implies hes toast if BJ focuses on him. This just becomes a box of nearly unaviodable lightning pulsing through everyone and arcing onto everyone else (8 times per bolt and each bolt has a 40% chance of being 2 bolts and therefore 16 bolts and as you can see from these vids its a lot of fuckin lightning and these guys arent maxing out Zeus the way I am.) And each lightning strike? Explodes into an AOE that doesnt harm zag. This isnt enough you say? What if Zag gets swarmed by Leon and Rika and Claude? Ok well Zag isnt alone. Lets talk. K Rool. For one thing this is his home turf and for another he has a fucking ridiculous weapon on hand the Schockhammer. Its a shotgun with a rate of fire usually reserved for an SMG and with plenty of ammo fully upgraded https://youtu.be/pvlVwCpbKH8 Now K Rool wouldnt be immune to the ridiculous cacophony of lightning necessarily (though all of Zags stuff does specify it hits 'enemies' its not exactly a team based game), BUT were on gangplank galleon. Hes got reflect up. And since Zag isnt gonna be targeting K Rool directly with lightning, any Lightning that arcs off someone at K Rool just gets arced right back at them again! And then finally BJ is here and post upgrades hes in his ubersoldat body and all by himself would just completely kick Leons or Claudes ass with his arsenal that includes another of those schockhammers, two triple barrelshotguns, an RPG, grenades and four automatic machines that he can dual wield. But most importantly vs Claude, he has both an actual sniper rifle and a scoped mini-BFG in the form of his upgraded LaserKraftWerk and since Claude AND the Wyvern both wear armor the Lasers gonna home on him making his dodge speed less of a factor. Claudes weak to bows and I would think thay extends to well aimed guns. Banjo is also here and isnt completely useless. He has Kazooie and can lob some grenades that can freeze targets and others that damage and can do so while flying on kazooie. Theres so much chaos going on with the big beefy fronrliners that Banjo might be able to land a cheap shot or two with these grenades. Obviously an excellent brawler but 1) I dont think he survives LIGHTNING BOX or being machinegunned or shotgunned repeatedly very well and Zah wants him dead 2) if youre gonna be ridiculous and say he does somehow beat everyone he cant win and K Rool is still gonna be the last other man standing by default thanks to Kredits. Rika is dead so fast her ability doesnt get a chance to matter and Leon and Claude are just badly outclassed here. Like, everyone is gonna end up real extra crispy here... and Banjo can just kinda chill with Wonderwing and avoid AoE and bullet hell until people start like. Dying. And if they freeze the wyvern's wings with an Ice Egg it's super over (which would be unlikely if, y'know, it wasn't probably wounded severely by oh god lightning everywhere). I don't think there's really wiggle room here for anyone other than Claude and Banjo to pull anything other than "just start blasting". DD's ensure Zag gets off a bunch of pressure, K.
