Litterally almost every miller I've ever seen has claimed immediately day 1....

But really the fact of the matter is I refuse to do it on principle. An instant miller claim effectively townconfirms me because it is not something I would do as scum.

I see what you mean ulti. You protected Creasent and Ctes claims the shot in death. So unless Scum decided to no kill which at this point why would they. Creasent is either town or 3rd party. Only say 3rd party due to the miller part of the claim. So I guess on paper She's fine and I'm wasting my time questioning her claim

Also I can't for the life of me figure out a motive to lying about a miller claim when like the only guy in the entire game who suspects me has already scanned me but that's neither here nor there. I really wanted Dumey or Sheep to claim it so I could nuke them~

The fact that it's in my role has been increasing my Ulti paranoia every time I see him cop fish.

Yep. One of the reasons I needled Sheep so much was to see if he'd just go "Fine I'm miller happy now" or some crap like that.

Isquen and Dumey haven't really been here much. And Sheep is asleep because time zones. But if that's the rest of scum, this is... boring.

I quickly dismissed Dumey/Sheep being a potential team. I don't even remember entirely why, just that it felt completely wrong on any conceivable level.

I honestly don't know if we can do that on page 1 of topic 1, though. Depends on the scum team and whether or not they decided to pull some theatre right out of the gate just so you can rule out any conceivable notion that the two of them are working together.

Now, later interactions might be worth studying some more. Might have to sit down and do that...

If there's one thing I can buy out of that claim it is scum shooting at me, because I thought there was a sizeable chance I'd get shot last night. I'm generally in that category of "good enough to be an obvious kill when near-certain town but not good enough to be an obvious save".

Basically I buy a scum team not shooting at Han or Lea in that situation because they expect them to get higher save priority than me.

I'd raise an eyebrow, then go for reevaluating. Isquen/MZero and Dumey would certainly still be suspect, but we'd have to look deeper into JC, Han, and Sultan, possibly even Ulti and Lea. I legit wouldn't know.

This is a weird game so far. Not a lot of activity early feels uncharacteristic.

Woke up at 4 in the morning, finally through... topic 1. Of 5. Criminy.

Don't have a lot I'm willing to share yet but nothing things that catch my eye as I go, but with as awful as sheep looks in topic 1, a lot of it is circumstantial. On the other hand, if sheep IS scum, I'm wondering if he went and called out his entire team in a certain post where he quoted Chris and ignored everyone else around him.

Also it feels weird to ISO yourself when you know your own role better than anyone else, but I'm trying to pick up reads that Mzero might have had - and whether I agree with them or not.

Back to sleep for a bit longer for me, more analysis to do at awakening time.

How would bulletproof + doctor make the combination with bus driver more broken, that doesn't make sense (more protection sure but that's not the same as broken), doctors cannot protect themselves.

Also how do you sit with a doctor save on Crescent, Death claimed town vanilla dies, and then utterly refuse to work with me under the assumption that Death was not scum's intended kill. Like, no one thinks doctor if you cooporate and you've claimed it anyways so it's not like that matters.

Also stop with any mention about Chris being the wincon, timezones aren't that weird either. If you're town, that's a fallacy that at best is partially correct by coincidence, so try to solve the game properly.

Everyone should realize that if they believe Ulti is town then you basically have to believe Cresecent and JC are town as well. I consider this most likely scenario myself, and that JC have just been stupid town. Seeing as I became town idiot last night, I'm in no position to blame him.

I don't want to go after Isquen right now. If he manages to catch up then great, we can take it from there, but this would quite frankly be far from the first time Isquen had made catch up posts as town that didn't vibe with most people. I'm not feeling blind shooting into that slot at all. I've felt great about Lea all game. She's having an A game regardless of alignment to be honest, but I'm thinking town Lea.

Sheep is probably the most informative kill because I don't think he can be scum with BCT, nor Sultan, and probably also not Dumey. Aside from these, I have no strong read on Dumey nor BCT. I allowed myself talked out of Sheep yesterday, but partially by Chris, who did look like he wanted to get off from Sheep again but couldn't quite act like he meant it, while he was basically feeling good about Death and JC unexplained.

At least one? This feels like a bit of a safe answer and lowball here (especially when you're voting me already!) There's plenty of people who think there's three scum in that group (and I reckon there's probably at minimum two despite there only being three others).

Wait, scratch the Sultan part. I had the paragraph typed out and recalled I also had a potential link in Sultan and Sheep and then screwed the sentence up lol.

The link is that if Sheep flips town, then Sultan is probably town too. I don't think Sultan completely screws up reading those cop lines if he knows that Sheep doesn't scan guilty. So Sheep's flip will confirm one of BCT and Sultan town depening on the flip, I think.

Fwiw, I would think there's probably some interaction between me and Chris that makes it fairly obvious we aren't paired. We talked a fair bit and I do think people are not doing as much digging as they could before voting me.

So to sum up where I'm at

Ctes is town idiot
Ulti is probably town
Crescent is probably town
JC is probably town
Lea is probably town
Sultan probably can't be scum if Sheep is town
BCT probably can't be scum if Sheep is scum
Dumey is unlikely to be scum if Sheep is scum

The above also means Sultan looks worse if Sheep flips scum. If Sheep flips town it says nothing about BCT.

Also I'm not entirely convinced this isn't scum Ulti honestly, but I'll ignore that thought for now.

You have wildly missed something (although I kinda think the game isn't far off solved with ctes and JC in my own PoE). I think there's a decent chance that there's only one scum here, and I also think it's really weird no matter what perspective you come from to think myself and Duney are linked.

I'm not downplaying Chris. I'm saying he knows he has enough reputation for several people to policy lynch him if he's alive long, and he knows he had that even before his most recent game that had him win as SK where part of his victory was specifically getting rid of players that would policy lynch him. I think suggesting any Chris scumteam would go for Chris being the wincon as plan A is downplaying him if anything is. And quite frankly, using Chris as a wincon and in relation to bussing to make half your cases I have a hard time seeing being done in good faith and not to cover stuff up, which is a huge reason I'm not convinced you're town. But, it does not make sense to lynch you at this time, so it's not important.

ctes I really really think youre town but shooting mislynch candidate death to claim town vig and then crafting the narrative (why would scum kill death?) under the guise of getting advance reactions from everyone is the sort of galaxy brain play I think youre capable of lol

I don't think I can say much more to that than thank you for the compliment haha. I guess that it'd be ballsy given the possibility of a counterclaim (in my most recent scumgame a teammate died in a very similar way to that actually) and allowing power to live.

Probably, but no need to rush it. There are some people that haven't been around since the most recent claims and I'd like them to be.

Also hopefully Isquen manages to catch up.

I'm genuinely kinda astounded you think that's a slip, Han? I'm literally talking about whether it's a good scan to make as Town in that post, why do I need to preface it with "if JC is Town"? Of all the things I've done that are stupid or I've struggled to put into words this game, I find it crazy that the thing that makes you wanna kill me is a fine point that came out basically the way I wanted.
