Strong agree with this. I think he needs a drawback of some sort. Even something minor like giving your cards in hand -2 power

Ive been fucked over by him a handful of times. Kazar+Patriot is usually enough to Turn 6 surprise motherfucker me. Throw Mystique into the mix and spread the ongoing love through lanes to mitigate Enchantress, and then pray to god you dont get Cosmod on the last turn.

what if a drawback for Kang was just that on the new turn you would have to play your cards first, then your opponent could see where they were played before locking in their cards. like the cards themselves wouldnt be shown, just the outline of where they were played, a la invisible woman

I made a destroyer deck because I got a cool variant.

Proceeded to play 4 matches in a row without drawing him.

So frustrating.

Destroyer decks typically have a lot of ongoings like Armor, Cosmo, Prof X, etc. So try putting in Spectrum too for the games where you don't draw Destroyer.

Or if you're just sad you didn't see your new variant then do better next time.

What happened to my Jubilee here? I played her at the location Lockjaw was at and she came back to my hand the next turn where I played her in a different lane and she pulled nobody out even though I had cards in my deck still??

Cable and Mantis (if you played at that location the same turn she was played) take your cards out of your deck so you did not in fact have more cards

But he also played Agent 13 and White Queen so he should have 2 more cards in his deck I think. Did Jubilee not pull Devil Dino?

12 cards on the field and in his hand + 2 from 13 and WQ - 2 from Cable/Mantis leaves none in his deck unless I'm missing something

I couldve sworn I drew Dinosaur turn 6, but maybe not. I definitely played Dinosaur from my hand on the last turn at least. Been on a big losing streak anyways since I keep running into stuff that feels outside my actual skill level at this game with this particular deck anyways. Was dead sure I was winning this one match and then random Silver Surfer I had no idea they had came out and won them the match. At least Im not facing what Infinite people claim they see every match, but most of my losses today felt hopeless lol

The Ebony Maw question I asked earlier, I should have been clearer on. It would not let me play cards in the Maw lane even the turn after he was moved to a different lane (i.e. the turn after Cloak moves had already resolved). The lane didn't have any cannot play certain cards / after X turn stipulations either. The lane I moved him to was full so don't know if it would have let me play cards there. I assume it was a glitch.

Making steady progress on CL. Up to 379 now so hopefully will get to 500 before next Tuesdays shop. Not that I have a ton of gold (like 1100)

location based abilities aren't super intuitive. for example if rescue or jessica jones get moved, or if the locations get shuffled around, their effects are still bound to the named location they were originally played in, regardless of whether that location has shifted position or the card itself has gotten moved to a different location.

i think ebony maw probably shouldn't work like that (because other ongoing stuff like captain america wouldn't buff it's old location) but maybe that's what's happening here. i guess just don't play ebony maw with cloak lol

Wow I swapped my deck and now Im winning matches despite still running Lockjaw and Jubilee. I just threw all high power cards into it along with Armor and Sunspot. Maybe this is the real way to play these decks

My opinion of people in this game:

I hate the spammers. Also my deck has been making a lot of people retreat even when theyre winning for some reason. Like Im talking turn 4 and I have two cards out and they just retreat like theyre scared of what I havent played or something. I just put this junk together and am seeing more retreats than Ive ever seen

I spam emotes in one situation only:

hello! If by the third turn the opponent has sat there until the timer runs out every single turn to play his cards.

So Viper and Bar with no name is pretty boss.

This deck is so stupid fun for something I randomly slapped together.

What can I add or take away from this deck, Sauron is in my shop right now and I'm thinking of pinning him and hoping I get enough credits through bundles.

well Sword Master/Maximus/Destroyer/Infinaut/Attuma dont have any interaction with Sauron since theyre not Ongoing. I'm not sure what the plan is with some of them (namely Destroyer/Attuma/Sword Master)

Typhoid Mary is a good one similar to Red Skull. Zero to erase the text for one of them before Sauron is out. Shuri is obviously great but I'm guessing you don't have her

Zero helps when you don't draw Sauron. You may want to re-read Sauron's ability though, I don't really see the point of Infinaut here. Armor would also be good since Shang-Chi is so common right now and you have a lot of big boys. If you've got Sauron and Zero, then Typhoid Mary makes more sense than Crossbones who doesn't get affected by them.

This match was a lot of fun. I thought I was screwed at first when the first 3 cards they played were Lockjaw and 2 Infinity Stones. Gotta be one of the biggest Doc Ock regrets because that middle lane he pulled in is insane (Dino came from Bugle)

There used to be a Zoo deck that would run him with discards. Play Blade and Sword Master on turn 6 to empty your hand and give him +6. He also used to be a 2/3 instead of a 4/4 but he got nerfed.

Maybe he'll see some play again when Dazzler ends up in pool 3.

Oh man even when I dont get the ideal cards with this deck sometimes the locations savor me where I still win. -1 cost to 6 power cards and having nothing to play turn 4 means I could throw down Infinaut turn 5 and Arnim Zola turn 6. Even I dont know what Im playing with this deck half the time

True enough. I feel like Nimrod & Zola or Galactus is going to be the new meta when this drops though? Nimrod cant be destroyed at all. Probably means Aero continues to stay everywhere too. Aeroing it to an Armor location is probably gonna be the best counter to it?

Maybe turn 3 electro -> nimrod -> Zola -> destroyer is possible although of course it loses to cosmo and armor and aero.

But more likely it just goes into galactus
