Kamekguy 02/24/23 12:16:28 AM #4:	I mean, they remade Crescent Island from DKR in Crash Team Racing during its development to prove that they could do it on Playstation, then modeled the entire game after that. They used largely traditional racing but greatly expanded on the exploration and secret-hunting aspects. Outside of that, definitely some overlap in structure with CTR. The multiple vehicles thing has been done a fair few times, with MotorStorm coming to mind as a more modern implementation.
