When news of Eldstars demise spread through the Mushroom Kingdom, it soon lead to widespread panic among the citizens. Without Eldstar, there was no way to overpower Bowser and take back the Star Rod. As fear and unrest grew stronger, the people began to feel very paranoid and were reluctant to trust anyone. It got so bad that they turned on the one person they trusted the most. He is the one that killed Eldstar, after all.

Sultan has been lynched!

The hat. The overalls. The mustache. Need I say more? Youre the hero, the star of the show, and everyones counting on you. Peach has been kidnapped once again, and its time for everyones favorite plumber to jump into action. Armed with your hammer and a rag-tag group of friends, your goal is simple: take down Bowser and his army and rescue the princess. Youve done this a hundred times, so it should be easy, right?

You are Mario, TOWN Hero. Each night, you may choose one of the following actions:

HAMMER: You will attack the target with your hammer, killing them if you make contact. Whether or not the attack lands will depend on the target. If you target a player that resists your hammer attack, your action will simply fail. On your first miss, you will get a glimpse of your target, receiving a hint about their flavor. Your hammer can be used any number of times, but the flavor hint is one time only.

JUMP: You will jump on the target, killing them if your attack is successful. Whether or not the attack lands will depend on the target. If you target a player that resists your jump, your action will fail AND you will sustain negative effects, depending on the target. However, a successful jump that kills an anti-town target will reset your hammers flavor hint power. Additionally, you will receive the following bonuses for successive successful jumps:

1st successful jump One-time risk-free jump (the target survives, but you will not sustain a negative effect)
2nd successful jump Above + Bulletproof when jumping at night
3rd successful jump Above + One-shot Strongman when jumping at night
4th successful jump One-use day scan to reveal any remaining anti-town

A failed jump (including hitting a member of town) will reset the number of successful jumps to 0. A successful hammer kill on an anti-town target will keep the streak alive, but will not grant any bonuses.

You win when all threats to TOWN have been eliminated.

i'll be honest i had trouble telling if mario was a weak flavor scanner or a full flavor scanner, trying to figure out how to fit ben's role into things in the context of sultan's

also i can't believe you guys special'd sultan that was SO BAD. i can't decide who looks worse

Okay, I scanned someone not a star spirit. And I was planning on saying who right away to prove myself, But now that evidence is only suggesting so far that star spirits are vanilla, I wonder if I even reveal who I scanned at all yet. I will of course not let this person ever claim their flavor before I reveal, God willing

i can confirm non-star spirit players can be vanilla.

No, you are telling us your scan. I'm not letting you get away if I was initially right to call your role claim bullshit, and this kind of "I scanned someone but I won't tell teehee" nonsense ain't gonna fly on the list of things that have conveniently worked out for you.

Han being alive is kinda cringe, but then again there was a doctor out there and Han would still be the person to protect. If Han doesn't die tomorrow night, then I say auto lynch him.

Look at the information in front of us. A major power role on each side had flavor- dependent qualities. I am convinced that town has multiple ways to glean different aspects of flavor.

Lea has done so much work to get us here, and she was right about you, Kirby.

I'm going to throw this out there.

I want to know if someone has a role that makes Ben's role make sense. You don't need to full claim, just a "Yeah, Ben's role would be useful to me"

Because right now Ben's role looks like one of the weakest scanners of all time so I'm really struggling envisioning a setup where a host would make that an actual town role.

Ben can also claim his target. His actions are completely meaningless now.

If a non-starspirit can be vanilla or power than scum has no reason not to just be honest for the rest of the game. Nobody is going to get caught in a trap.

I'm more inclined to believe a pure flavor scanner exists in this setup and Sultan, the half-Vigilante, half-flavor scanner was the supplementary scanner, not Ben.

If enough people want me to I'll tell you who I scanned, it's just I don't think the result tells you anything except "this person is not confirmed town". Tells scum more

But if Ulti is saying star spirits aren't all vanilla, then Maybe nothing is lost by me revealing

scum already knows i'm power so unless your scan somehow makes someone a higher priority kill target than me it's pretty safe to say the target

Also this is the second flip now that has mentioned sealed powers. I still think that's a mechanic I'm supposed to interact with! Especially with Mario revealed to NOT be the one
