I think the chances of us having back to back cult games are probably very slim. But you can't deny the similarity of a lot of people going "wow I only have a lot of town reads this game", myself included. This doesn't have to mean cult, but I am drawing a comparison that there may be SOME kind of shenanigans. The occam's razor is obviously just that scum is inactive this game. But that's too convenient of an answer to rely on.

I remember when I played before, being more of the mindset of everyone is guilty until proven innocent, rather than the other way around, but both D1s these past two days have been a non-standard experience in that regard!

Hmm. I interpreted this more like Sultan trying to point out something obvious or funny here, since he doesn't say whether this is a bad or good thing for Red, just that it is a first. But I can see it, in that scum often ends up ignoring their own teammates and tries not to bring any attention at all to them.

This post. I feel that if Cody and Sultan were both scum, Sultan would have absolutely started explaining the rules of mafia to Cody in their own discord, with Mzero chipping in too. And thus Sultan would not have made the statement that Cody should read the opening rules on how to play mafia

If we are shooting crackpot theories out there I am just gonna say that the scumteam is whoever got suspected last game and they are playing the exact opposite to avoid suspicion now and thats why we arent getting anywhere.

Also I looked back at the Lea/Ben conundrum and the way it was all worded and enacted and have deemed it not suspicious for now.

Though I hope Lea does post more still.

Scum Lea flowed effortlesslessly and I was really impressed. This Lea has been much more stop and go.

The funny thing is I think that is usually a scum tell but after watching Lea do it I don't think it is here.

You can but it's like, not necessarily too worthwhile?

Something you might want to try is picking a player and going back through the day, just ctrl-f for their posts, and ask "is this person trying to find Scum or blend in?"

You might not be able to answer the question, but it might get your brain working in the right direction.

I think what you're looking for is better as reactive than prescriptive, but even that is sometimes frowned upon because wacky hosts will do wacky things

1. Yeah I was exaggerating about the joke phase being basically all day 1. I agreed that your number was more accurate.

2. I did clarify I was waiting for Isquen to come back when Ctes questioned that same thing, I agree it is a valid question to why I wasn't very committed to it at first.

I can see why Plum started the argument. One could reasonably assume Sultan felt bad about making the joke when people immediately ninja'd him with more reasonable times.

We should lynch Isquen or maybe Peaf. People voting Sultan have nothing. The votes on Lea are all past-experience reads and I can't evaluate those accurately.

Yet the connection is him being incorrect and the person he's incorrect about being Scum.

Scum for like, a sentence that you thought read as LOUD when Sultan has, in fact, been much more vocal as a Town player.
