The difference in taste and texture is tremendous. Kicking myself for not doing this sooner.

Milk is the worst thing to put in coffee imo. It just gives it a weird in between taste between black coffee and cream that is like the worst of both worlds.

Coffee Mate uses top much oil for me personally.
I find the film it leaves very unappetizing.
International Delight is where it's at, when I rarely add cream.

I just dump sugar, vegetable oil, and throw a pepper mint in mine. Basically the same thing but cheaper

I like my sugar with coffee and cream.

I can drink good coffee black but even good coffee has too much of a bite to it black. I don't need sugar in my coffee but I do need a bit of dairy to smooth it out.

I typically drink my coffee black, but I do love oat milk when I get a latte or something along those lines. Oat milk has a creamier richer flavor than all the different milks to me, and it beats out creamers like coffee mate because we already make our our own flavored simple syrups at home for different cocktails and the combo of the syrups with oat milk is more flavorful.

Totally disagree Coffee Mate is horrible.

Semi-Skimmed milk and artificial sweeteners is the perfect addition to coffee.

Coffe mate is good for keeping you're coffe hot when you add it as opposed to cold milk

Frankly, I've had multiple medium roasts that didn't have enough of the good coffee flavors I want from a cuppa coffee. It's more that the cream really helps balance the bitters that I still want in it.

It's probably not so much the roast as the level of coffee used. Try just pulling back on the amount you use next time you want a cup of the black stuff.

Not trying to shame you into doing it, though. I know black coffee isn't for everyone. I used to black coffee only purist, but now I love the depth that simple homemade oat milk can add to a cup.

my financee just got me this for my bday this year. honestly, i'm excited and nervous. i had to research the different types of coffee cause i just drink regular. idk what to do with this ahhh

Damn that's nice. My girlfriend and I got really snobby with cocktails and coffee during the pandemic and now we have every accessory you could ever imagine for those two hobbies EXCEPT the espresso maker. We use a moka pot for espresso martinis but it's not really espresso and in my head I crave the real deal.

Try a medium or light roast. Dark roast is really only for people who like that bitter taste or like to add cream.

made me a latte and then a mocha. latte i had too much milk, and used about half and chocolate milk for the mocha. and damn is it tasty

switch to oat milk.

switched from half&half awhile back and haven't looked back.

Wide Awake Coffee Co makes my favorite 'daily' cream. Milk is for when I have no other options really.

If your coffee needs cream or sugar, youre drinking bad coffee.

Milk is pretty bad. It creates this odd flavor I can't describe.
