I mean that is just TERFs in general. They are so anti-man that they hate the idea that a man is turning into a women to gain more "benefits" and that they are not genuine about it. I wont be buying it myself, but other people choosing to do so is in no way transphobic.

Rowling is like the female elon except she actually had one talent. It wasn't really writing, but she could come up with a super entertaining arching storyline despite not being a very good writer.

Still want to know why the entirety of Avalanche Software isn't getting a lot of hate. They aren't enslaved. I would not produce something if I knew it was single-handedly going to allow the creator of the IP, who has zero input in the game, to murder innocent people thanks to the royalties she will receive.

As I stated earlier, Im not planning on buying the game.

But no, my apathy isnt what ensures that she will remain relevant and rich. Its the way the world works, whether we like it or not. You cant hit somebody in the wallet by abstaining from buying a product if they dont need your money. Or rather, you could, but its futile.

George Lucas also made something really popular. The last decent instalment was in 1983, but people still listen whenever he crawls out of the woodwork to say something. Thats the kind of relevance that will last until death, and Rowling, for better or worse, has that.

So yeah, challenge her hateful rhetoric. Oppose her moves to oppress any minority groups. Thats right and justified and might actually have an impact.

Slagging people off for buying a computer game is not helpful on any level.

Also, you're potentially denying her royalties, assuming she's getting royalties and not an up front payment, but aside from that you're not doing any damage to her wallet. She put no time, money, or effort into it. She'll cash the cheques, but ultimately if it fails what does she really care?

The only people you're hurting are the devs who did put time, effort, and money into the game and who have at least tried to make it as inclusive as possible.
