It isn't just individual cops, it's the whole damn system. There's a reason why they are so callous and celebrating how hard they beat him knowing they're being recorded.

There's four of them, and it goes nearly two hours total.

For those that want to know what happened, but don't want to watch it, here is a recap I wrote for the 4 video angles over at 261

"Video 1": They pull Tyre over at a traffic stop, and slam him to the ground, repeatedly tell him to get on the ground, which he already is. He says he is just trying to get home, while one cop threatens to break his arms and knock him out. He gets tazed while on the ground, and bolts up and away from them. Rest of the video is them discussing and picking up the spent tazer wires

"Video 3": They have caught up to Tyre and have him pinned down, seemingly close to his house because he can be heard screaming for his mom. The other officers keep yelling "give me your hands" while literally holding onto one of his arms. They spray him in the face multiple times, but two of the cops accidentally spray themselfs in the face. Because of the accidental discharge, this cop walks away to compose himself, missing most interaction. He does come back after a few minutes, to another officer lifting Tyre up, and proceeds to hit him with the baton multiple times. We can also partially see another cop punch Tyre in the face during this time. Soon after, more patrol cars arrive and he walks towards them

"video 4": Same time as Camera 2. They have caught up to Tyre and have him pinned down, and after a few threats of breaking his arm, there is a struggle that causes the camera to fall on the ground, missing everything.

"Video 2": Same time as camera 3/4, but a few moments after Tyre has been pinned down and the cop from "video 3" sprayed himself in the face. This isn't a bodycam, but from a street camera(?). It has the rest of the interaction in-frame. While on the ground, one officer kicks Tyre in the face (2:19 & 2:31). Moments later, two of the cops are lifting Tyre back up, and Video3 cop comes in to hit him with the baton (3:05). At this point, he is on his feet, restrained by the cops, though wobbly, and another cop gets a strong haymaker to Tyre's face (3:18), as well as another punch (3:20). Tyre staggers, while still being held by another cop, and the punchy cop gets another 3 punches to the face (3:28-3:33). At this point, Tyre collapses back to the ground and they proceed to dogpile him, 2 cops directly on him. At this point, you can see the lights of the other patrol cars approaching and things "have calmed down"

Fucking cowards, all of them are fucking cowards and weak men.

The video just keeps going and going for like 20 minutes where everyone is just standing around talking while he's just laying there on the ground. What the fuck. Emts and fire dept were on the scene too, just chillin

the start of the Tyre Nichols video shows a group of police, for no discernable reason, immediately escalating to violence, threatening and hitting a young man while shouting contradictory orders at him

There will be some, but I doubt it will be significant.

George Floyd protests were big because:

1) The weather was nice and NOT cold

2) It happened during the quasi-covid lock downs where people had major cabin fever.

If Covid-19 wasn't a thing I bet 99% of America wouldn't even know who George Floyd is.

The first video was from a white cop that deployed the taser right? Why only the black cops fired?

The officer beat this man so fucking hard he had to take a break and catch his breath while resting on a car, while 4 other officers held him down. Fucked up shit. I hope they get what's coming to them. Fucking scum.

Not sure how true this is but I heard those cops are from a Neo-Nazi ring that has done targeted hits like this before.

Should be a solid 2-5 years with early release for good behavior and a job waiting for them elsewhere.

There are 4 videos. The 3 bodycam videos have audio, where you can hear nichols and the police. The 1 overhead shot from the pole has no audio, but shows a more encompassing depiction of what happened.
