So I didn't actually hear anything. I watched but the video had no audio

Just learned he was screaming for his mom. He was fucking scared to death

This infuriates me
If a gang jumped you and started barking orders at you while beating your ass, you'd be scared to death too.

"A conviction for second-degree murder in Tennessee can result in 15 to 60 years in prison, along with a fine of up to $50,000.

If convicted, the sentence for the five officers could be even more severe, given the added charges of aggravated assault-acting in concert, aggravated kidnapping, official misconduct and official oppression."

To the fullest extent of the law.

If rentacop DP wasn't already suspended, he certainly would be from this topic. He'd probably be trying to explain why Tyre deserved it

So the cops at the time knew that the video recording will be made public, but still went the whole nine yards with police brutality? WTF, this makes me wonder what happens during arrests that are NOT recorded.

They talk of the thin blue line... cases like this make me think we need a line drawn in the blood of the victims. If you're on the other side of it, we're at war and there will be no quarter given.

Why do you think it's called the thin (blue) line?

You're not on the cop side of the line (even if you're pro-cop), so the cops view you as an enemy combatant and they giving no quarter.

Even if there were no 'kill shot' you have to understand that a culmination of brutal body shots can kill someone

Yeah, that's the part where Fox noobs are willfy superficial and ignorant with an agenda. They really should just stick to dick sucking GOPs until this whole trial is done.

Fox News... well no. The correspondents know they are lying. Fox News viewers think real life is like a movie where an action hero spends 2 hours getting blown up, stabbed, run over (John Wick) and think that is what a body can withstand. They are lost in fantasy.

I watched it, its not really super graphic. Obviously its terrible man is dead but its dark, kind of hard to tell exactly whats going on.

that said, seems pretty unreasonable that 5 officers couldnt subdue one man without literally beating him to death. Its at best a critical failure of training. If youve got numbers you dont need to bludgeon someone into submission. Pin them down and restrain them until they gas out. I dont really know all of the context but seems pretty indefensible.

This gets trotted out in every topic, but like, Maddow has used the same defense. It's a common defense against defamation suits!
