Did 3 Houses have S-Ranks between other party members? I know it only had romances between them in the credits.

The codes are available now in Fire Emblem Heroes for the Engage content. For those who didn't knw, linking your Heroes account to My Nintendo will net you a code in game that gets you 3 weapons and 3 Emblems in Engage. You only have to get far enough into Heroes to get to the home and mission screens, so if you're like me and don't play it it'll just take a few minutes of your time.

Doesn't look like you can actually redeem the code until the game launches, though

It did not, some A ranks like Edelgard/Dorothea had romantic implications, but weren't explicit. That was all locked in the scrawl, so definitely could be the case here too.

I've never been able to tell if I'm interested in this or not. I've played a fair amount of FE.

Oh and Three Houses is a game I did one playthrough of and don't intend to again unless it's some NG+ blitz.

All the little things in the monastery got tedious on top of all the stuff you needed to do to build your units.

If that was a big hangup for you, it's not here!

There's stuff you can do for temporary boosts, and optional healing items and gear, but outside of the arena there's nothing with permanent effects. Theoretically, and this is just from impressions, you can go straight from mission to mission here without a problem, at least on normal and likely hard.

But then you'd miss out on petting and dressing up your doggo.

Have played through Chapter 5 now, systems are still unlkcking.

Playing hard mode was absolutely the right choice, even on chapters 4 and 5 I've already had some extremely tough situations. I can't speak for normal, but worries the the game would be too easy due to the Engage mechanic are definitely not the case, at least at this point. Even the Lodestar Rush can't take out some bulkier enemies.

This game takes the armor knight class VERY seriously. I think people shitting on generals for all these years finally got to them lol.

Every boss having 2 health bars is tough to get used to.

It's such a needed change though. The games were getting too easy.

It feels really weird to finally be experienced enough at Fire Emblem games to be comfortable starting out on Hard right out the gate.

I've grown a lot in the last 10 years!

26 turns, 7 divine pulses, and about an hour and 40 minutes on the Tiki paralogue.

They make you WORK for that Silver Card, fuck!

Apparently you can get the silver card later if a skirmish spawns on the Tiki map so Im going to do that instead of trying to deal with 9 billion dragon spawns

Also just found out you don't have to warp and can actually just walk someone up and around the far left side from the start lol.

I mean that a pain of it's own, but still.

They've got this whole farm idea, but the dogs are the ones that seem to be able to drop silver ingots, so as far as I'm concerned it's a kennel.

Supports are way too short in this game.

I haven't noticed them being particularly short.

Especially with Awakening and Fates still pretty fresh in my mind, and some of those supports being like 6 or 7 boxes.

Now Three Houses were long.

Finally cleaned up all the extra stuff and got Anna to a comfortable level, so 3 hours since chapter 6 it's finally time to do chapter 7 lol.

Into chapter 4 and this story so far is so cliche it hurts. I really hope it gets better than this or the characters get better or something.

I got a G rank on cooking and it didn't lower any stats for me. RNG cooking bonuses is lame but I do find it kind of hilarious that I found an even worse chef than you and yet you suffered for it and I didn't

Is this one of the FEs where you should Master Seal as soon as you get them?

It seems like it, from what I'm hearing you don't actually gain less experience promoted, it's all based on your internal level (ie Vander's low experience gain isn't because he's promoted, it's because the game considers him to be level 15) so you just get free stats for no loss. Apparently Second Seals are buyable early enough that you shouldn't run into much issue with capping and not going anywhere, not to mention leveling up feels pretty slow in this game anyway.

But this time when he opens his eyes he's super hot.

I gotta be completely honest and it's kinda stupid, but I really, really love the after-battle exploration of each map.

3H needed something like that to break up the monotony of the monastery. Like, I genuinely liked the monastery but having little smaller areas to explore like this would have helped a lot for later parts of the game.

How do you get money in this game? I feel perennially poor.

So you can change your appearance which A) doesn't affect your character's appearance in battle and B) doesn't affect your character's appearance in supports and cutscenes.

What exactly is the point?

It is definitely wierd.

It does effect the....ASMR thing.
