My university supervisor and my teacher supervisor acknowledged that I was doing a great job, but nothing was ever enough for the principal. The students at that school thought I was great, too, and when that came up as a highlight of my performance during my final evaluation interview with him, my university supervisor, and my teacher supervisor, he dismissed it and said "that's just because you're young, it has nothing to do with you as a person or as a teacher". He was rude to other teachers so I tried not to take it personally. And then at the end of the practicum, a job posting came up that was EXACTLY what suited me. But he didn't even short list me, and instead the job was given to some guy that didn't have a math background. I later found out that guy went to the same Mormon church as the principal. The thing is, I am generally well liked by the vast majority of people, so when I do have haters, its definitely their problem and not really mine. This hasn't happened recently but I have had haters here on GameFAQs in the past, and some people would go way out of their way to insult you or whatever to the point it was cringe and i actually felt bad for them to some small degree. Like, I forget the exact context, but this one guy on here(CE) well over a decade ago had a problem with me, not sure what it was, and in one thread I said something and he goes "you know you used X word wrong?" and just made a big deal out of it and all I could think was "yikes dude is this really worth it to look like a jackass in front of everybody?" <cite>argonautweakend posted [p:970839228] in Have you e... Have had him blocked for a long time now and still keeps trying to get me to say something to him.
