My last car had a broken evap sensor. Took it to 3 different shops and none of them could figure out how to fix it. Ended up just resetting my sensors before every inspection, driving my car 30 miles so at least 3 of my sensors turned back on, getting it inspected, then usually having the sensor trigger the check engine light on my way home.

My current car I don't have anything on. Inflated my tires a couple weeks ago due to low tire pressure, but that was it.

Our 2003 Chevy S-10 had that, caused by one of the oxygen sensors being faulty. Didnt fix it before we traded it in. It had that going on so long that I got worried if the check engine light WASNT on.

Nothing now. Since buying it a year ago I've struggled off and on with the oil pressure light periodically flickering, but the oil change before last I made sure to get an OEM filter instead of using whatever the quick lube shop I went to had (where the light was on, I didn't feel I could wait the 2-3 weeks for an appointment at a proper place, where it was during tire season and everywhere was booked pretty solidly), and that seemed to solve the issue until the most recent oil change, where the tech also found a small leak around my O-ring. From what I could tell by researching it a bit, the bypass valve on OEM filters seems to have a different pressure threshold from others, so I'm guessing that was why the car was detecting a fault. Either way, everything's running smoothly now.

I keep getting an error about the catalyst efficiency is below threshold, bank 2. That's either something minor involving the O2 sensors, or the catalytic converter is fucked and it'll cost a fortune to fix.

But if I clear the error with my handy-dandy bluetooth code reader and Torque Pro, it stays off for a month or so.

The TPMS light keeps coming on whenever it's cold. I suspect the batteries are failing.

The check engine light is on. I had to take the car in for an oil change and was gonna have it looked at but it stopped the night before my appointment and came on again afterwards.

This. It stays on from November until like April or May because apparently car manufacturers have never heard of the ideal gas law.

I don't have any of them on right now. However, in the past, I've sometimes had them on for a few weeks before I took care of the issues.

Nothing right now, but I've had a good share of them - most common reason is for a bad O2 sensor.

Loved Torque so much when I used it. That said, I was worried about the battery in the spare phone I was using it was overheating and caching fire (since I had it mounted on my dash so I could see the gauges), so I eventually ditched that setup and replaced it with this (it was worth it for the shift lights alone):

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089VKS44X/

It does almost everything Torque does except it looks nicer than mounting your phone. That said, if you only care about trouble codes and don't need the additional gauges, you'll be fine with the $15 OBD-II BT adapter and the free version of Torque.

EDIT: A pic of it in my car to give you a sense of scale (it's much easier to read IRL, and yes I need a car wash)

And no, my CEL isn't on. The car was in accessory mode when I took the pic.

There's a parasitic battery drain in my car, 4 electricians couldn't figure it out, i had to turn off a switch from the internal fuse panel to reduce the drain and i get a constant "Turn on Fuse Switch" alert in my dashboard.
