I too miss the old PotD. But by that I mean the PotD that was way earlier than what most of you mean.

PotD Golden Age in my opinion was 2004 - 2008.

What do you guys actually miss though? There were a handful of quality posters that never came back like Fetusman and nudojudo. But there was also a metric fuckton of annoying people that spammed topics and there was no way to block them.

This place is more or less what it's always been to me, somewhere to waste time

The signal to noise ratio used to be way better, and it was relatively easy to ignore the terrible posters and topics because there was always a dozen other worthwhile topics to drown them out.

The only reason we need the block/ignore feature now is because the good is mostly gone and the bad has infinitely multiplied.
