How's your guys progress coming along?

I beat like 10 Salamence before finally getting one with Moxie. I plan on doing an all dragon run for a future play through so that will come in handy. I was actually wanting to masuda method six shiny dragon eggs after I get the shiny charm.

I'll be preparing for the Charizard tera event this weekend. I'm 3 badges away from beating all the gym leaders again. Then all I'll have to do is beat 10 raids and 6 star raids should unlock.

Is there anyway to see the picture on the group of friends again My switch was super low on battery, and I had to plug it in. And then, I guess the credit keep going even with the system off. And when I went back in, it showed the picture for like a couple seconds, and it was gone Its apparently on my desk, but I cant seem to view it

Thats weird that they dont let you see it again Why even put it on the desk if thats the case?

How long does it take to clear the crater? I might want to split it up instead of just doing it all at once.

Maybe 3-4 hours but almost all of it is cutscene stuff when you get past the 4th lab. So I'd say get to the 4th lab and call it a day then get ready for all the cutscenes.

Of course I can't get a Shiny Slither Wing in three tries but I can get two Shiny Flutter Manes in one sandwich...

Managed to get 2 ability patches in a 6* Avalugg raid. I fucking love Avalugg now. Now my Sylveon will be ready for Charizard.

I hate how much grinding is required in this game to get a VGC team. I played this game right after playing thru Persona 5 + 4 back to back. Loved those games when usually I get fatigue playing RPGs for too long. Then I hit the post game grind in Scarlet and all of a sudden I feel burned out. Despite the Persona games being long and filled with a lot of dialogue, it never felt like I was grinding at any point in those games. Even with 4's shitty generated dungeons that were kind of a slog to play through at the end.

You'll unlock better sandwiches later in the game and in the post game. I assume higher level versions are just stronger than lower ones. I didn't bother with sandwiches till post game, so all mine are level 3, but encounter level 3 pretty much only spawns that type. So encounter normal level 3, you'll only see normal types.

Like I said though, I never used the level 1 or 2 versions. But I assume level one makes normal more common, level two makes much more common, and three makes it only spawn normal type.

Shiny hunting a Charcadet now. Gotta do it on my monitor since really slight differences like Charcadet are hard for me to parse on handheld

Best sandwich recipes are ones you'll have to look up and custom create fwiw

Also, got a random shiny Finizen yesterday, and it throws me a Finizen outbreak today. >_>

I reset my outbreaks this morning for like an hour and finally got a beach adjacent Finizen outbreak for picnic resets. Got a shiny in a moon ball. <3

How do you reset outbreaks?

Yep... You just go to the Switch menu without closing your game and change the time...

How hard was it to notice?

Not too bad actually! There's a cliff near Asado Desert where you can force spawn a ton with level 3 sandwiches, and since it's all flat rock around there, the blue of its eyes becomes decently noticeable even from a distance

There's the dare advance method which you don't have to quit out of the game for. Or else, if you're like me and do play other games where date stuff will fuck over other game files, there is a second method that's slower but also works.

The second method is just turn off auto saves and make a hard save at night on Sunday for instance. Then exit the game. Monday morning you can open the game and check your map for outbreaks. If you don't like the things available, exit and start the game again and a different set of outbreaks will be there. Rinse and repeat as needed. Once you save the game it'll finally make the ones for that day turn static.

I got the charm, too! So, shiny hunting will be much easier. That said, I have a few other things to do. Just beat 5 gym leaders for the second time in like the past hour Will have to stop since my switch needs a charge

Wait you finished the dex before finishing unlocking 6 star raids? Dafug.

The dex wasnt too hard I caught every Pokmon I saw that I didnt have, including evolved versions of Pokmon I did have. Any I needed to evolve, I did before the Fairy Team Star base, since the Chansey spawn is good there. And did the special stuff for the other Pokmon around that time (or before Area Zero, at the lastest) The only Pokmon I needed by the time I got to Area Zero were some of the Violet Paradox Pokmon, all of the Scarlet Paradox Pokmon, and Miraidon. After I finished the Area Zero story, I got the rest of the Paradox Pokmon, and traded my roommate for some of the others (since he needed some Scarlet ones), and Koga for Miraidon. Haha. Tbh, I would have figured most finished the Dex before the tournament

I mean I know but it just seems like an extremely odd priority considering it takes waaaaaay less time to finish the story and post game tournaments than the dex. -_-

Maybe Though, since I caught most of everything before even finishing the story (I did finish the titan one early), I was already really close. So, it just made sense to finish off the Dex since I was already super close

In the menu hover over the pokemon in your team and press ZL. It'll then show your party and their hold items. Press y over the item you want to move and then go to the recipient and press y again. It'll move the item or if both have one it will trade them.

The game never tells you anywhere that this is a thing or even shows a menu option thing like the auto heal or make lead pokemon options.

Dont try shiny hunting that one specifically though, those static spawns are always full odds
