certain flavors are not allowed to be called "ice cream" because they lack the milk / milk fat content required to be called that. these will be labeled as "frozen dairy dessert". gross.

Check the fine print to see if it says 'ice cream' or instead says 'frozen dairy dessert'. If it's the latter, woe unto you because you're getting a highly emulsified fluffed up product that is always soft because of how it has been treated.

I went to check my Tillamook since I really like that, and not only does it have ice cream plastered all over it, it even calls out other bitches and says they put more cream it in it than legally required. lol
