I don't see how 8 can stick the landing. Maybe it will, but I don't see how it is going to explain everything.... or maybe it just will leave it unexplained. TOP MYSTERIES OUTSTANDING So...... Why exactly did Shannon decided to kill everyone. I mean technically it didn't outright say it was Shannon but it was pretty clever how it portrayed it. It's possible there are clues here but I actually fired up Episode 1 again to see what the context was of that beach scene and found surprisingly little, But seriously why did Kanon sacrifice himself in 6. Any why the are you sure from Shannon, and why is Shannon in the same room as Lion. Honestly that is really bothering me. I thought the evidence was really solid it was Kanon, and then it obviously was not given everything that transpired but still that is really confusing, though that furniture quip at the end, was that something Shannon ever actually said? I have this uneasy feeling in my stomache that this just doesn't sit right and I can't figure out why. All of the locked rooms are still confusing. The game 6 one especially but even aside from that one the Nanjo death in.... 2? for instance never got explained What exactly is the realm of the witches. It hasn't actually been explained who these witches are or what the fragments are or how pieces are made. Is there any way to tell what reality actually is? One problem of searching previous games for clues is if they are just pieces, they could just be doing anything I don't know. Feels like there is a lot that is still quite confusing.
