no, they are not considered played. Nor moved, so Fisk tower won't work either. As far as I know "played" exclusively means the player chose to place the card from their hand into a location.

If you use Psylocke on turn 2 you could play him at Murderworld on turn 3 and kill four of their cards though!

Having a lot of fun with this deck which seems to be working. Dug out from rank 50 to rank 60 with this. I finally figured out a use for Spider-Man. Which was also the use for Omega Red so it's cool

Basically Professor X (and Psylocke-- mana curve is junky without her) is the work horse here. I lock down a lane as early as possible. With the combo of Onslaught + Iron Man or Cosmo + Destroyer it tends to be easy to actually win a lane by 10, which then spills into Xavier's lane to win it as well.

Psylocke + Titania turn 3 into Xavier tends to win a lane without Omega Red too. And then if I just yomi Professor X into an empty lane of course. But yeah it's fun. Really good with the featured terrain too. Still think Omega Red is a bit weak it's hard to win a lane by 10 but yeah if you trigger it it's a lot of power.

Someone just played Storm to fill their lane and they had 3 total power. I waved the turn before and there wasn't really a way I could win it seemed so I just decided to play Galactus in the middle lane for a tie.

Then the guy retreated in the middle of the Galactus animation! I wouldn't have been able to play more cards the next turn and we were tied. Maybe the first time I've seen someone retreat during a guaranteed tie.

It has the normal credit upgrade cost you would have to spend anyways so it doesn't seem like I'm actually spending much extra credits, and pushing through collection level seems good.

Also anyone know an easy way to find what cards are available for upgrade in your collection? As my collection grows, scrolling through it to see the one or two cards with that barely visible sparkle to it is just awful. That makes me want to quit playing the game more than anything else.

My counter deck has worked really well since I unlocked Destroyer recently and realized it's a natural fit. I usually end up with Daredevil and/or Spider-Man leading into a low-strength Professor X victory, and then Destroyer can usually drop either alone or preferably with Cosmo to take another lane. And I have Rogue, Armor, Shang-Chi, Green Goblin, and Aero picking up a lot of the slack when the key cards don't show up. Managed to shoot up from like 60 to 80 over the last week.

Fast Upgrade does not have the same normal credit upgrade cost, it also costs 5 credits per booster you don't have. Credits are much harder to come by than boosters are (since you can only earn as many credits as you have missions, while boosters are awarded for every game you play) so you should literally never do the Fast Upgrades.

On the Collection screen, at the bottom right you can change how the cards are sorted, one of the options is "Upgradeable"

I think it largely depends on how much you play in one sitting. If you play for like 40 minutes at a time to get through the daily challenges, you'll have much more credits than boosters, but if you're playing for several hours straight you'll likely have more boosters

When you start going further up the collector level track you start getting boosters for leveling up

You play the game long term you should pretty much always have more boosters than credits I think. If nothing else you should stop spending gold on credits before you start buying fast upgrades

This blows my mind, I do exactly that and never have enough credits to upgrade more than 1 or 2 cards a day. I'd love to know how you end up with so many credits because I got so many boosters I cannot use.

Before making that post I googled my question first and I saw some kind of article stating exactly what you just said here but the logic just doesn't check out for me

Every now and then I'm like "ok i only have 300-500 credits maybe I should chill on the fast upgrades so I can upgrade whatever I get boosters for" but then I end up at 1200-1500 credits with nothing to spend it on so I just dump em.

Checking out the prices, I was like "ok am I just wasting 350 credits to upgrade this guy?" so i went to check that card in my collection and it'll cost 300 to upgrade even when i get the boosters, so the amount I'm paying now is marginal + I get to move up collection level and probably recover that extra amount back as those 50 credit tiers,

If I'm ever sitting with a ton of boosters and no credits to upgrade I can just stop fast upgrading for awhile to catch them up, doesn't seem that tough though. The game throws tons of credits at you every day if you do your quests.

I've basically bought out the fast upgrade shop every day i've logged in to play since I started playing about a month ago. I'm sitting at literally 0 credits right now so that's why I was curious what everyone else does =)

I feel like people who have credits and no boosters just aren't swapping decks enough. I'm almost CL 4000 and I only remember like 3 times where I didn't have enough boosters to upgrade any cards but I have leftover credits.

So then I just built a deck with all of my common cards and played a few games and voila.

Or maybe people refuse to upgrade some cards they aren't going to use or something? Like IDC if I'm never going to use a card, upgrading it is the only way to get new cards so of course I'm going to upgrade it.

And yeah it's been said but buying the fast level up is bad. Boosters are much easier to get than credits. The cap on credits in a day is 450 or 600 or whatever and the cap on boosters is 1000 (basically impossible unless you're playing for 10 hours straight or something). I'm sure most of you didn't even know there WAS a daily cap on boosters!

It takes 500 credits to raise a card from ultra to infinite and it takes 50 boosters. That's 10 levels on the CL track. So in one day you could potentially get enough credits for 10 levels on the track with credits and 200 levels on the track worth of boosters. Sure that would take all day but that's letting you know how much value the developers are putting on boosters.

This smooths itself out pretty quickly though. Over the course of like 2 weeks you'll spend the same amount of credits and gain the same amount of levels.

I'll see what happens when I cash in my 10k credits. I'm pretty sure I'll run out before my boosters are done.
