So bad it is worse than The Last Jedi.

It's probably better to keep it that way.

If you can get thru The Last Jedi, you most certainly can get by The Rise of Skywalker for sure uce.

or any Star Wars media really. Well I dunno about Andor. That's the only live action one I can't get thru.

There was no possible way to fix the damage done by TLJ, it was doomed from the start.

Best you could say about it is: it's a movie.

Its the second worst star wars film after Into Darkness

Don't know. The 2nd movie in the series was so bad I didn't bother seeing the 3rd.

The highest compliment I can pay Rise Of Skywalker is that the theater played the movie without a single technical malfunction.

Can't say. I wont touch a Disney Star Wars product after The Last Jedi.

Some may not like TLJ over story details, but it was an ok movie on its own. ROS was an apology for TLJ in the worst possible way imaginable.

Riding the Skywalker isnt even a movie. Its a youtube reaction video given a bloated Hollywood budget.

RoS openly mocked TLJ in ways I guess they thought fans would appreciate but it actually make it seem embarrassingly juvenile and spiteful, then replaced those things with absolute nonsense.

Somehow, they fly now.

The craziest thing is that TLJ obviously made fun of the tropes from TFA but it wasn't really that spiteful (it was a little, but enough that it probably could slide if it was a better movie). ROS was straight legit malice. Like it went on a systematic warpath to undo everything from TLJ with surgical efficiency.

Yeah, you could tell the two directors hated each others takes on Star Wars.
How Luke's lightsaber is handled in the trilogy is a perfect example.

It is given a huge level of respect in Force Awakens, Johnson decides it is a huge joke a does a "comedy" bit with it in Last Jedi by having Luke chuck it after Abrams set up a dramatic ending in Force Awakens. Finally, Abrams counters by having Luke say something like "A JEdI WeaPON dESerVes more RESPECT" in Rise of Skywalker.

Yeah RoS was junk, but to be fair there was almost nothing to build off from. Every mystery and any interesting plot point that was presented in TFA just ended up being a dead end, a "nothing burger" in TLJ. They had to randomly throw in Palpatine in there and go "yeah your parents were a bunch of nobodies, but I said nothing about your grand pappy!". It was a lose situation and I am honestly real curious which direction Rian Johnson had planned for the final film.

It was bad in that they couldn't come up with a decent way to end it. TLJ blew its load on way too many plot aspects early and had little character development, so the next one didn't have a lot to work with.

Decent, I'll give you this one. You got the planet wrong though, which is understandable since ROS is incomprehensible.

I think Last Jedi is worst, but only by a hair. It's pretty bad

Its a product of there being no control over the franchise.

Even Force Awakens, while a good movie, should have clued us in how bereft of ideas they were. Its pretty much a remake of IV.

It makes the original trilogy mean nothing as were right back to an evil space army led by a dude trained in the dark side.

TLJ killed my interest in SW so I never saw it. Seems like a good decision from what I hear.
