Things started off very similarly to last year, with Aerith falling behind early before starting to claw back in the second topic. Yes, rich Ramza!

First, I feel I owe an apology to Pokewars and other Aerith savers. I was so convinced she'd walk this final that I talked beforehand about what a boring result it would be and I didn't give Ramza a shot. I imagine this kind of handwaving frustrated some of her backers to no end, especially given how things turned out. That's on me, and I won't count anyone out next time!

That said, man what an impressive performance from Ramza. It's time to put Poor Ramza jokes to bed for good! Not sure if there was some Aerith fatigue with consecutive finals for her or something like that, but wow this was a pretty dominant result considering the competition. I'm glad Tactics finally gets its win, and nobody could consider this to be a weak final. Fitting that it's the main character who pulls it off (I prefer Delita but Ramza is still a great character), I wonder where the game goes from here. Congrats to VI and all Ramza backers, and condolences (and apologies) to Aerith fans. She's a good character and I voted for her last year, maybe third time will be the charm for her.

Aeris savers tho very inactive this time (sub-80%), while Ramza almost cracked 90%

My complaint isn't just about VII losing, nor is this not a complaint I've said every year. My complaint is for multiple games and characters, the board anti votes when you put their names in the Title.

I complained about this still when Cloud won.

I vote Aeris over Agrias last year and over Faris this year so I say she's just bad at matchups.

neither year was it possible to bring the weaker 3rd member. kefka and ramza were both just as strong as aerith from like top 6 on (kefka much longer than ramza)
