Oh, Briana White definitely brought the character to life. She delivers a top tier VA performance for the game. Like I said, the popularity resurgence is warranted.

Xenoblade 2 Chapter 6 beated.

These mostly aren't actually about things that matter, but it feels like the explanation for things are getting a bit weak.

Rex is going to be Rex.

This dungeon is pretty painful with how it restricts your Blade. Hope you you had some good Blades to use on Rex. But, it's still great for the Nia parts.

I don't like Rex but I thought that scene was amazingly well executed. By far the best scene in the game, I think.

I like the major players in all the arcs so far, but she's definitely been the hardest to root for in the show.

also this is hardly an epiphany but i watched the goonies for the first time the other day, and it's striking how very directly it inspired stranger things. ST is like goonies meets ET.

I think it's good. It's nothing mind-blowing so far, but it's a decent narrative and solid characters with outstanding visuals and music.

I've enjoyed Rings of Power but I'm easy to please. Like Leon though I don't think there's anything mindblowing but it's been good.

I've picked up reading the Kaguya-sama manga again and now I'm on Chapter 193

Papa Shirogane becoming a viral YouTuber is an amazing development. Also, it's weird but I think Ishigami/Miko is a more intriguing pairing than Shirogane/Kaguya. To me, it felt obvious that the latter pairing was inevitably going to happen. It was just a matter of when and how. Ishigami/Miko feels more up in the air, especially since even the characters are split between Ishigami being with Miko and being with Tsubame.

Kaguya Manga:

Papa Shirogane is the best LOL. And yeah, the Ishigami/Miko ship is way more interesting IMO.

i'd go in with low expectations. it's much more style than substance atm, but it has definite potential

Finally finished Xenoblade 3. Of all the Xeno games Ive played, that was one of them.

Well this is looking to be the start of the Jin redemption arc. Sure he literally tried to kill all of humanity as well as personally tried to murder Rex and almost all of his friends, but turns out he cared about a person one time so I'm sure it's all water under the bridge

I still need some time to let it stew. Its probably my least favorite of the blade games though. Im not overly negative on it, but I definitely felt disappointed once I finished.

LotR: The Rings of Power Episode 6:

Credit to Arondir he did a lot better in holding out against the orcs than I expected, even if he eventually got outgambitted at the village by Adar.

But we need to talk about how unforgivable the treatment of the sword relic was by Arondir and to a lesser extent Galadriel. *No one* checked to make sure they had the right thing? In Galadriel's defense she was never told exactly what it should have been but Arondir wtf. And then thinking you still had the real one you give it to Theo instead of making sure that thing stays with Numenor?

Punished Galadriel finally getting the war and stage setting she always dreamed of. I'm also raising Halbrand on my "is actually Sauron" threatdown list. So much of his later scenes with Adar and Galadriel just felt off to me.

This was the "it just got real" moment I've been waiting for from this show. It does feel like Arondir should've been smarter than that though. It's bad enough for him to get outwitted by Adar, but for it to be that human villager who is the worst person on the show just makes it cut a little deeper.

I'm on Kaguya-sama Chapter 233 now. It's kind of interesting that they've gone super serious with the Ishigami/Miko romance as opposed to the general lightheartedness of Kaguya/Shirogane.
