Anyway, the elaboration is fine, but I don't agree with it. First game I read here was kingmaker where Plum claimed gladiator as scum people were asking him tons of questions he hadn't considered at all and ultimately got lynched. Kirby was pressured into claiming, people make mistakes under pressure. Some people myself included mentioned believing the claim but not necessarily the alignment and I don't see how understanding the role would be any different as town or scum tbh.

How many holes did Kirby really have in the way he claimed his role worked?

Think it was mostly not knowing if it was mandatory to use he was confirmed about. He also said he was sure he thought his item was a night action until he was promted to look again. But yeah, whole thing seemed a lot more confusing than it probably was.

Given the way he described his item, it sounded like a night action. And in general, most every role in our meta is assumed to be optional except for SK NK's. Really seems like he had his head on straight and then everyone made it confusing, particularly Corrik, and that the confusion Kirby seemed to have through it pointed at him more likely telling the truth.

For two, Plum bought the power in that game.

Kirby claimed Miller first post of the game. I guess I give him more credit than to not be bamboozled on a thing he went hard on immediately.

Plum in contrast yes had lightly considered it but two things

1. He wasn't committed to the claim at any point until pressure came. Kirby was. There would naturally be more pressure.
2. He was sabotaged by the game style at some level. Our fake build your own roles didn't have the amount of detail legitimate role PMs have. That wouldn't be the case in this game.

This is my answer. Han mostly speaks to point 2.

But yeah its not great that even on the major talking points I dont feel superstrong besides HB and maybe Sultan really.
Though I keep thinking of ways for Sultan to still be town despite the posts Lopen repeatedly points out.

Might be bias from it being probably the two franchises of anything I've spent the most time on, but nothing is beating that. Though ___ and Pokemon in itself was fun enough that it could work for many things. But alright, enough about that.

Kirby only went hard on miller immediately. And it was even iffy because of the effectively "miller" part. The rest came later under pressure. Of course there would be differences in the two cases if this is fake, but the similarity we needed to acknowledge was only that it was a scum fake claim with some details not having been considered fully. But again, if Kirby is scum, I'm more inclinded to think it's just Mafia Decoy with Observer Ward meaning everything but miller is true.

I've made some points already and I also just don't see the Lea that took charge and seemed to actively scumhunt way more than this in Baseball Musical mafia.

But I'm also pessimistic about getting this going anywhere, I will admit, I haven't managed to convince a lot throughout the day.

I went over Hb's posts and I nothing sticks particularly out to me. It seems forced to me. Also doesn't help I'm certain there's scum having had their vote there for most of the day.

thank you lea. interesting to see kirby buddy up death here when I'd hazard a guess that few others feel so confident about death. certainly i don't feel confident at all that he's town. if anything, he seems to be delicately dancing about without committing to much of anything, but perhaps i've simply overlooked stronger contributions from him.

definitely something to keep an eye on moving forward, and certainly if he won't commit to a vote later today

I've really only seen 4 people say they think I'm Scum and at least one pulled back. Lopen is clearly lying about having thought it.

A handful of other people have said I was Town or Town leaning in that area. And then half the game said nothing.

It's not a weak or wasted vote more, it can be changed, but it's what I feel best about and considering how much I've brought it up today, there have been very few things against it. People said miller stuff aside, Kirby looks towny. By all means do attempt to explain to me why this works for Lea.
