And also the fact that like a Dunkey is pretty open about what he likes and dislikes in video games. He then goes and complains about the dialogue because it was clearly written by people who don't know how to talk to actual people. There was a lot of people in the chat who were obviously pissed, but I think Dunkey is open about his dislike for JRPG. I don't know how to describe it but it feels like one step away from a certain type of "gamer" toxicity, and it's made me tired of him in general at this point, even though I used to enjoy his positive videos. Plus it's annoying how fans try to have it both ways, saying he is a serious good critic if it's a nice review but also that if he says something bad it's your fault for taking it seriously even though he clearly cherry picks, which cheapens the legitimate critiques that are there. It's particularly bad in XB's case because there's a huge outcry of "anti-weeb"ism, particularly with XB2, when the series has always been like that. Not to mention the double standards of series like Yakuza also having these silly moments, but also having a serious main plot.
