There is a perfect storm brewing this weekend and I don't know how to deal with it yet.

#1 Friday I gotta take my dad to the doctor because my fucking asshole brother ACTUALLY has his car and needs it for work. My dad knows this and is ok with it. SO, whooooooo's left? ME. I have no problem taking him, but my brother is the lowest of pieces of shit and holds his pathetic minimum wage job above my dads health, ok.

Later that night, I got a friend coming in from Santa Fe and we're gonna get tore up drunk. He's half the reason I have my username and probably my best friend in the world. NEXT MORNING, i'm supposed to go to another side of the state to go camping with my neighbor and his daughter because I once said I would but, tbh they sprung it on me last minute. I have to work Saturday and didn't have time to cancel any of that at all.

I just don't like doing that. I have people at work that believe it or not, rely on my sometimes and I have never left them hanging. It's not even a company thing. I genuinely don't feel good fuckin someone over because someone else planned right through me and I gotta pick between 3 situations.

A few years ago there was a news story on the 6 o'clock news about tourists going to the US and walking across the Peace Arch, getting into vehicles and disappearing into a new land. Living underground as part of organized crime.

Is that the thing in St. Louis? I could drive there and go to a new land.

This one is only about the size of a quarter, actually more vibrant than the pic gives it credit for.

they are pretty, for smaller moths, for sure. Pretty neat caterpillars too.

and holy shit I feel like I learned a new language passing out watching poker the other night. It's like I opened up a new part of my mind. I'm reading better, my betting strategy is better. I feel like I learned a bunch of awesome shit when I was too wasted to know what was going on but like my brain absorbed all the best shit and now I've absorbed it and I'm like a superhero... but not really, just like a little bit better at poker maybe.

I'm drinking on a wednesday to chill.

I had a whole bottle of this raspberry cordial that's half as strong as your standard spirit. I'm currently drinking an artificial cider that has made me vomit up my stomach lining twice in a row - I stopped drinking it after that, but I grabbed a bottle last weekend and idk how I'd ever get rid of it. Drinking it with soda water so it won't be so concentrated.

It kind of started when a-c-a-b or Johnny was just making a drinking topic every night, it would get like 5 to 20 replies. I found his ass and I was drunk every night, so started posting, a-c-a-b and Canuck were posting a lot, Jim just showed up and posted random youtube videos, and eventually we were bumping the one from the day before and just decided to make it a general. I don't even think we started with numbers, it was just like "Who cares what day it is LETS GET HAMMERED!!" and would eventually hit 500. Sometimes we'd have 2-3 up at a time and forget about them. The fact that it took us 150 tries and we still can't get a tag list right about sums up the topics.

I saw an absolutely batshit crazy video this morning. In 1998, a TV show in Japan began broadcasting a series where a naked man was locked in a room until he won 1,000,000 ($8,000) from magazine giveaways. He was given no food, no clothes and no utensils of any kind. They didn't even give him a toothbrush. All he had was a table and some water.

It started with a weekly update that they pieced together from recorded footage, but by the end of the year they were livestreaming this constantly naked guy online for anyone who wanted to watch - and he was still under the impression that they were only using "show" footage rather than broadcasting his entire life. They had a dedicated team of people censoring his genitals because he never won any clothes. He didn't even get any toilet paper for ten months.

It is an insane story whether you watch the Atrocity Guide video or the Cr1tikal video. I would highly recommend watching one of those, because the above isn't even the full story. There's even more. I'm about to go into spoilers, I'd recommend discovering this in your own but the following is fucking insane and made me laugh like a maniac.

So when he leaves the room after 335 days, the producers take him to Korea and get him a nice suit, and take him to theme parks to enjoy his freedom and take him out to eat at nice places. And then, WITHOUT TELLING HIM BEFOREHAND, they take him to ANOTHER room in Korea and tell him to get naked, and they tell him to win enough magazine giveaways to cover his plane ticket home to Japan. He didn't even speak Korean, he had to use a Japanese-to-Korean translation diary to write the entries.

AND THEN, the crew kept upping the price without telling him. The plane ticket was for economy class, and they upped the price to business class. And then when he hit that goal, they upgraded it to first class. So he spent three more months in Korea winning enough goods to cover his trip home.

And when he got home? They put him in what he thought was another room. So he begins to strip off his clothes because he's just spent over a year completely naked writing into magazine giveaways, fully expecting to be trapped in yet another giveaway game. But as soon as he's naked, the walls collapse and fireworks go off, and he learns he's actually on a big stage in front of a crowd of hundreds of people. Ass naked, covering his dick while fireworks go off around him.

So now that I'm back from my bullshit purg:

1) It's a boy! We're gonna be naming him Locke
2) Me and the wife finally go on our honeymoon road trip in less than 3 weeks, and along the way we have to drop off her friend's cat (she lives in AZ close to Flagstaff where we're making our first stop)
3) Magnus Carlsen (5x defending world chess champion) said he's not going to be defending his title anymore because it's boring (he worded it more eloquently but that's basically what he said) and he wants to just stick to tournaments because he prefers that format
4) Fuck the Falcons, football is here!

It's like lifting 250lbs of dead weight. I'm trying to burn it into his head that he needs to use a walker and carry his cell phone with him because im not always gonna be here.

Me and my cousin use to use a wheelchair to push each other over next to traffic and then run away like we were abandoning the disabled person. One chick got really mad at us and screamed at us. Total Karen. Naw, we were actually just pieces of shit and deserved it.

The end.

That would be a better story. Especially cause the nearest river is about a mile away. I was 100% joking about her being a Karen. She actually stopped me from wanting to do it anymore. So, she did the right thing and it had direct impact. So the lesson is, older white ladies need to yell at kids and people having fun more ....wait.
