A few upcoming games do look potentially interesting, but think I will stick with what I have as all these games add up with the time they take. If only the grinding was easier in gacha!

I'm playing Epic Seven, Counterside and Punishing Gray Raven.

E7 is hella grindy but gameplay is solid.

The story in Counterside is surprisingly really good, I was really invested in it lol.

PGR is good too. Not the biggest fan of the artstyle but the gameplay is really fun.

All my targets for 2022 in FGO acquired. Now I hoard and build up my stash for 2023 when I eventually dump my entire SQ load into Melusine and her supports.

It's definitely better than most but it's piling on layers of intrigue faster than it's answering questions. It makes the entire replacer story feel like exposition.

I'm glad PGR is getting more players in; its launch was pretty rough but the game gets a little better with every patch/event. Now, current event aside (it's not bad, just bland, but it's not Kuro's fault here), it's a pretty solid action-RPG. I'm looking forward to the patch when you can freely practice against any boss...and Vera's lightning frame.

I am so fucking hype for Guardian Tales 2nd anniversary.

If anyone was considering playing, tomorrow's the day to start.

Play those units in that order within a limited time to trigger the operator skill. Timer starts when you play the first unit. You can refresh the timer by playing the next unit or by playing another unit if the same type as the last unit you played to refresh the timer.

Ah, thanks. That was my first hunch after reading the Prydwen site that mentioned "easy skill trigger order" as a pro for some Operators, but I was still far from certain. I needed to check since I finally got enough to buy an Operator from the shop. I wanted Sigma, but I realized that I would never get her skill since I use no Defenders lol.

I guess it's convenient since my first units using the starting 10 Deployment were Gaeun, Chifuyu, Evelyn, and the twins. All I need to do is put Evelyn after Gaeun which won't make any difference since the game summons them all at once lol.

If you're looking to buy an operator, Chloe is apparently mandatory for Inhibitor raid unless you're planning on rolling awakened Joo Shiyoon.

My problem is that I don't have any Defenders that I like until maybe Replacer King, who I assume won't be out for ages :<

You use N and R units to trigger Chloe's skill in a blatant suicide attack against the inhibitor so it doesn't matter if you don't have any SSR or SR defenders.

We don't know when it's coming back but it's good to be prepared. If I were you I'd summon a few operators just so you have something that you can use until you need to buy Chloe.

I mean I have a bunch of cheapo Operators since I did a few pulls before being advised never to pull for them lol. Olivie Park is my only SSR and I have a few SRs. Then it's a crapton of normies :<

I pulled a little and then I was like "eh I know I shouldn't do this but I'll just keep pulling until I hit pity" and that was a big mistake.

BTW which upgrades should I get for the Office stuff if I'm going for tickets? You know, that thing where you send off squads/the branch manager for a while to get goodies. I'm guessing the main ones are the things that increase the chance of high rarity missions, the one that shortens exploration time, and maybe the one that increases the great success chance?

The upgrades that increase the level of dives/raids are free (besides a token amount of gold) and you should definitely get those.

The others need those special disc things and those are not easy to come by so you have to weigh your options. For me, filling out the raid ASAP is my priority so I have them set up +10% high quality disturbance, +2 levels support gear, and +3 levels chance to spawn a raid.

If you destroy the upgrade you get the disc back so don't sweat it you can always change your mind later.

Oh, I never really valued the Raids lol. Since there are always enough support requests to empty out entire line of rewards by the end of the season.

Blue Archive released a big PvP QoL today.
Skip function now unlocks after the timer drops by a minute (previously it was 2min). This greatly speeds up daily chores, as PvP was the biggest time eater.

Generally the match is decided within the first or second EX use anyway, especially now that Aris & Iori got a huge boost and Tsubaki a huge nerf coz indoor area type.

Oh shit they just announced Awakened Sigma. This changes everything.

Grimlight is starting to lose its appeal. While I like the game, you burn through stamina way too quickly. I miss stuff like The Alchemist Code where I could use literally hundreds of stamina potions and still have 9999 left lol

Alice Fiction seems too auto for me. Like it looks like the AI would do a better job of playing than any human ever could since its just rapid firing the matches and shit

There's a second trailer with a very small amount of gameplay. Seems to be a turn based RPG.

Nice! Jun is a great tank, and both Mahos are good supports.

S!Maho is a magic DPS, not a support. She's about the same level as Kyouka in single target, but with her damage stuffed into her UB rather than spread out via crits. She's worse against a group than Kyouka is though, since her UB is 4 random hits.

Given that she has no skills that affect other units, I'm not sure how you would consider her a support unit.

Sorry. I knew she was considered to be good, but I hadn't actually seen her skills yet, so I thought she wasn't too different from her normal form. Karyl, Makoto, and Saren all pretty much filled the same role in their summer forms as they do their normal forms, so I thought Maho would be the same way.

That's fine if you were just assuming, but I'll leave the correction up to prevent confusion. Though I'm not sure I would consider S!Karyl or S!Saren as filling the same role as their original forms. S!Karyl is a ST mage instead of AOE, and S!Saren took over Kokkoro/Monika's spot (attack speed and attack boost) for team building more than regular Saren.

S!Makoto's probably the most similar, and she's so hyper-focused on ST that she's completely useless in AOE compared with her original version.

My thought process with that one was "they're both mages that lower the opponent's defenses and therefore increase your damage output", which they are. Summer Karyl is just much better at that purpose for boss battles because she's single-target and lowers defenses even more.

I was thinking more about Summer Saren's usage as a TP battery (which she does better than normal Saren) rather than the attack/speed buff, but you're right that she does that better than Kokkoro/Monika too. She's basically all three of those characters combined into one perfect package.

Out of the Summer characters that I actually paid enough attention to know what they do, Pecorine was the only one whose Summer form is drastically different from her normal form to the point where they share absolutely nothing in common. All the others I knew at least shared something in common through their skills or general usage, so that's why I thought it was more likely that Maho was like the others rather than an exception like Pecorine. If I caused any confusion with my incorrect assumption, then I apologize.
