Dunno about other platforms, but $13.99 is the lowest it has been on Steam. Given that Aria of Sorrow is worth the purchase, and that a lot of the actual cartridges out in the world are counterfit, it's not a bad decision to pick that up if you have the cash.

Speaking of Castlevania sales, lemme just remind everyone that Castlevania Requiem is on sale for 3.99. Had a lot of fun playing Rondo of Blood for the first time, and 100%ing that game as Richter makes revisiting SotN again feel so much more therapeutic!

Tangential FYI: But if you ever encounter an actual cartridge for Aria of Sorrow and want to quickly check for authenticity, the easiest test is to ask if you can confirm that the cartridge works with a GBA and then try to load a saved game. The actual cartridges have solid state memory while most of the counterfit ones operated on batteries: which should be long since dead at this point.

13 bucks is worth it.

Honestly, the only outright bad game in the collection is the middle one. The first game is pretty good, and Aria of Sorrow is great. Dracula X is ehh, but I'd consider it more of a bonus than anything else.

You're gonna get your money's worth at $13.
