Really running the gamut from mediocre to awful here

X8 > X5 > X6 > X7

But none of em are a prize

X5 > X6

X6 was so bad I didn't finish it and didn't play the other two

X5 is the least mediocre of these.

It feels so weird to vote for Mega Man X5 which is a borderline bad game but it is still leagues better than X6 and 7 and slightly better than 8.

I like how everyone's complaining about the quality of these games but this poll still has way more votes than the Street Fighter poll.

X5 and X8.

X5 and X8 are solid. I enjoyed X6, the game is very hard the first time, but with good preparation is not bad (Falcon armor using giga attacks vs donuts, ... ). X7 is awful.

X7 is one of the worst games ever. X5 and 8 were good. X6 was... Eh

I mean I think X8 is my 3rd favorite after X4 and X1 So it's up there with the best X games for me

I'm assuming Zero collection is next so that will be fun

Now I want to believe those 11 people only played X6 and X7 otherwise I can't explain them

Forget how X7 even plays, the fact you can theoretically finish it without even playing as X is basically unforgiveable

I like X5 enough that I was disappointed the collection on switch bundled it with X6-X8. Haven't played X8 but X6 and X7 are no good.

I guess it'll have to be X5 then, at least it has some decent moments and less broken level design than the others (barring X8 maybe, haven't played that enough but I could not figure that game out for some reason). Still has very inconsistent level design and some ridiculous mechanics, but it's generally playable.

X6 is so disappointing. I absolutely love the music in it, but that's the only thing I like. The level design is horrendous. I thought people must be exaggerating and that it can't be that bad. Unfortunately, it is. I don't remember enjoying any stage honestly. And then in Blaze Heatnix's stage, I couldn't take it anymore, so I stopped playing.

I didn't play much of X7, but I can easily trust everybody's opinion on that one.
