Third scenario: Ben is pretty damn clearly town and Han was nuts to push a lynch on him, so I changed my vote in response to Sheep unvoting you to ensure our very likely townie wouldn't get lynched. Never mind the fact that Han was the person who tried to get the last-minute lynch on Ben started! But no, there's no other explanation other than I "hopped onto the best player".

I'm not even sure you believe your own logic when you've conveniently left out Red in your analysis, and he already had two or three votes before Han even brought up Ben as a candidate. Was Red not a lynch option here?

But fine. Let's say your theories have some merit to them (which is a ridiculous premise since you're asserting that I'm scum regardless of Ben's alignment). Pick one theory and stick to it. Do you believe Ben is town or scum? You can't have it both ways.

I have a big workday today so I cant be around much for the next 8 hours. I havent caught up yet either.

But I will at least explain what I went through during that chaotic EOD and it basically came down to being paralyzed by the choices before me.
I didnt wanna lynch Plum because he claimed provable power.
I didnt wanna lynch Ulti because I didnt think the arguments against him were as strong as Han thought they were.
I didnt wanna lynch Red since he couldn't come back in time for the deadline probably, and I hate voting someone who cant even defend themselves.

Then the Ben train started and I really didnt like that either. But at the time I figured the only way to save Ben was to vote Plum and I wasn't that sure about Ben being town to want to doom Plum. I mostly just didn't like the way the Ben train came out of nowhere.
Before I could even consider choosing there though, Han suddenly shifted and then everything also turned against Han.
I really did not want Han to die either, but I still hesitated to vote Plum because in that final moment I felt Ulti had to be scum and wanted to vote him instead. But by the time I did the math on what the votals were, more Han votes came in out of nowhere and by the time I processed those time had literally run out.

I wont excuse myself by saying that it was late and such.. This was just a case of me being too affraid to risk anything. I cannot even blame the EOD on most of everyone else for that same reason.

But now that I have had a whole night to stew about it, I just feel like lynching Plum is our best bet since it would give us the most answers.

Also the flavor claim bothers me a bit. When you go to someone and say "I'm going to need your flavor" it is basically screaming "I have a flavor scan lol". And unless I'm completely missing something, we have 0 idea what the hell the flavor split is, or if there even is a flavor split(I assume there is...?)

If Ulti is scum it was a giant sign of "give your real flavor".

Probably too deep of a conspiracy to say it could be a scum/scum setup, but from a confirm of Ulti we learned absolutely nothing from that sequence. If IGCD is in fact town it was about as big of a misplay of a role as we possibly could have gotten. Hell he followed it up from "my biggest question is blahblah dumb shit that doesn't matter" then comes back a few minutes and is like "lol ulti claim flavor please".

I actually hope it is a scum play because the whole sequence absolutely angers me.

Also for the record, it is theoretically entirely possible. There weren't enough votes that it couldn't just be a massive scum pile on. Hell I understand people thinking Ben is town, I definitely started leaning more in that direction, but its far from anything anyone could confirm at this point.

Of all the claims/flips out, we have one person with a single foolproof scan, one "thief" and a hider. With a doc already flipped. Thats a lot of power out already if true. I am skeptical. Don't even mention the person supposedly immune to...everything, which I immediately assume to be an outright lie already.

What answers have you got in mind?

If Plum is town, scum would want him dead. If he is scum, they would want him alive. It would tell a lot about players reactions and actions during EOD. Also it lets me better gauge reactions to the claim.

Kirby's vote I like the least, but I need more time to analyze his actions. His final comment rubs me the wrong way though. He's chiding everyone else while being a part of the mess to begin with.

Ulti I also disliked. But he gave his real flavor according to IGCD so I am willing to let him live for now.

Lea sounded disturbingly distant. I will at least give her points for saying she doesnt want Han to die. Though I would like to ask her if she could keep track of the votals during that time.

(also I need to make a minor correction for her. But I only stayed up until 2 am. Not 4 am. Good lord I would never do that for anything)

What are you even. For one, I really haven't said that much this game. Two, my activity has been heavily factored on whether or not I was working those days.

Sidenote: Lie Detector was a role I had in my own head for some time and I want to know how Sultan can read my mind.

we should probably kill it, don't be too upset over this. You guys took out 3 powers in the first day.

Also side note there was no updated player list with start of day and it is slowly driving me insane.

Death not only was around, he was perhaps the only player with an accurate count in the final minute.

Trust me I lost track of votes during those final minutes and I wish I hadnt tried to keep up and just voted someone instead.

I think the hider scan probably means Tidus is Town if Plum is Scum? I'll rethink that if Red turns out to be Scum, though, because of the way votes panned out at the end of the day, but Red should always be lynched before Tidus unless the latter makes a Tidusslip.

This is a very odd statement to me. You're wary of Ben, because he mentioned... thinking something he didn't do? Why specifically Ben here and not, say, me, given I voiced similar thoughts? What do you think scum Ben gains from mentioning this?

I didnt voice them for you because you didnt act on those thoughts ultimately.
Plus you are overlooking another obvious difference in that Ben couldn't act on his due to the votes on him, like I said.
It just kinda reads like he wanted to set up a believable reason for switching to Han so he wouldn't have to drop a vote out of nowhere and look bad. But he just did not get the chance to do so.
Its not a strong feeling, but one I wanted to write down regardless.

You don't think there is enough information yet based on your hiding, the claimed untargetable, and the 3 town power flips?

As much as I'd like to lynch Plum for his posts alone, I think there'd be some benefit in seeing who he "confirms" next, right? At least, if he flips town, that's two confirmed townies. Otherwise, if he flips scum, the scans might not be so reliable (though I echo the sentiment that Tidus is probably town regardless).

Though I do agree with Red that the amount of town power already revealed is quite staggering... With three roles flipped and three roles claimed, I'm also wary that someone in the latter group is lying. Obvious answer is Plum, but I suppose IGCD + Ulti conspiracy could be a thing? I don't think I'll entertain that possibility just yet.

Man, I really just want to toss a vote on Plum and call it a day, but that's just not very productive.

No yeah I agree lynching Ulti right now would be dumb. It's possible him and IGCD are scumbuddies or that IGCD's flavor scan means nothing on Ulti, but I'd much rather lynch Plum before either IGCD or Ulti become a legitimate option.

I doubt Tidus would be scum. He's the one with the massive scumslip a few games back, yeah? He's corrected course a lot from then. And I have no idea what to make of Plum at this point. Could go either way. Might be good to keep him alive one more day just to see who he hides behind, after which point his flip would give us info.

As far as game theory works... 4 strong scum or 5 weaker scum are the only ways for it to work properly, yes? Or am I analyzing this too much?

I do hope DYL is scum so that it confirms me and Ulti. I hope Ulti is town because it will basically confirm BCT since i do trust his soul read and experience playing with BCT in other forum games.

5 scum feels like too much if the 2nd kill was theirs.
Then again we dont know how power is divided...

I dont think an SK exists either (unless its Lea herself) because they could just hide their kills
