I'm not surprised the larger part of my interalized transphobia is related to me and my appearance and presentation, and an internalized belief that I am an other and that is bad. I'm still quite early in my transition, which is hard for me to accept and understand sometimes: patience, especially patience with myself, is a bit of a struggle for me. I think cisgender aspiration, additionally, is probably going to be high for us all, given how dangerous it can be to be obviously trans.

I am heartened however at how low my transgender alienation score is: I draw strength from my siblings, relate to them easily (even trans men), and know a lot of non-binary people who are fucking rad.

And remember, these are just online tests, not definitive pronouncements of truth. And I kind of don't like their mealy-mouthed language on test #2, but whatever. You can't be modded for taking a test and posting your results.

Tests like these will always be flawed, its kind of a weird question I think even for me, like Im trans and I would definitely say yes at a question phrased as you have it stated here, for attention and for worse and more nefarious reasons as well. IF theyre faking it then theyre not trans, so fuck them.

Some questions that may not fit these types of surveys but would be a better indication of your trans acceptance is: how would you make the distinction in a face to face interaction? Would you treat ALL trans people with suspicion until they proved their identity to you? Would it be important to you to know that a person is really trans and not faking it? Does this extrapolate into you disregarding persons with genderfluid or non-binary identities in some way?

I think the ones I picked in the middle are where most of my skeptic score comes from. A few of the questions were worded a bit weird.

Like the one about whether kids know their own gender. It probably depends on the kid, so I kept it right in the middle.

Very nearly my results as well. I think the skeptic portion comes from a lack of information. Some of the questions assume you have knowledge of how trans people feel or knowledge of medical policy so I was neutral on a few.

I got something similar, 4% on the gender dysphoria survey. That's because I gained points for my answer to the gender stereotype question, but that's probably just because I'm kinda a submissive and agreeable personality, never been in a fight etc. I'm surprised that question is in there as I feel it's more related to the idea of toxic masculinity, I think I'm just a sensitive and shy male

I'm technically trans (nonbinary/agender or something along those lines) but I still don't feel like I have much in common with most trans people. I don't know how much of that is due to my own misconceptions, though. In addition, I feel like a lot of my "self-shame" score is just due to my depression rather than anything specific to my gender identity.

The third test is rather strongly based on the gender binary; it's very "one or the other"-leaning and because of that I don't feel like it's something that can give me any sort of meaningful result, so not gonna bother posting that one.

I do feel the sympathetic vs skeptic one was a bit overly specific on some of the questions tbh. For example, about a minimal age for hormone treatment, I disagreed with 18 but may have been more willing to support 16. Likewise on not really considering reasoning - for example the question about whether anti-trans speech should be illegal; I think it should be socially condemned but I'm very wary of making any speech actually illegal so that was a strong disagree for me.

tbqh i don't like how it determines self shame by a measure of one's pride in their trans identity. a lack of pride isn't equivalent to shame imo.

Some of those questions seemed very loaded or at the very least didnt provide enough information to be able to make a informed choice.

Wish the tests were more in depth. For the latter I felt sometimes that my answer would be in between some of the choices given. Also for me personally it's hard to make choices or express my own feelings when it comes to the subject.
