Ah, I guess the key to the insurmountable task of nominating in 10 Narshe moogles is really coordinating ahead of time. I know there's users out there who participate in the main contest but don't do any nominations, just need to tap into that reservoir of availability and indifference. Maybe next year...

Honestly, if you treat it like you would for any other game, and only do the main story content and major side-quests (like your main job quest line or the optional dungeons), I don't think it's any more time-consuming than a lot of RPGs.

It's when you try to do everything that makes it extremely time-consuming, particularly if you try to keep up with the endgame meta.

The free trial is probably enough to give you a lot of the game's content. Like a lot of people play up until the latest point in the story and then un-sub until there's more story content, and I think it's fine to play that way.

But yeah, you're right.... but knowing me I will want to grind out 100% completion so yeah, it's probably an investment. I barely have time for games nowadays anyways, plus a backlog I still need to work through. But maybe someday!
