Here we have all the evolutionary sets that didn't fit into another category: several of these pokemon have unique typings, Axew is the only 3-stage dragon who isn't a pseudo, Cosmog is the only 3-stage legendary, Rockruff is one of the few non-mineral rock types and has an evo with several forms, and Hatenna for some reason isn't in the humanlike egg group with the likes of Abra/Ralts/Impidimp that you might expect it to be compared to. Gen 1 does nothing for me here, I like the rest of the Zubat line better than the base form and NidoM is cute enough but nothing compared to some of the other adorable fluffy creatures we have today! I'm a fan of all the gen 5+7 mons in the poll, though admittedly Cosmog is largely because of Nebby.

To be fair, I doubt Cosmog would even exist if it weren't for Nebby. As in, I imagine Cosmog/Cosmoem were made up specifically for Sun/Moon plot purposes.
