The good news is, if they can't finish them, they'll still be good when the kid is his mom's age

If anything, this is actually more important to draw attention to than most world events. A ton of people tacitly assume that apps like these are somehow set up to prevent unwanted large orders like this from going through, whether because the correct user made an error, a child was playing with it, or somebody maliciously did so. The reality is that they aren't, as much as they perhaps should be (parental controls on by default, verification calls for orders exceeding a certain threshold... there are quite a few different options for preventing this that the companies don't implement simply because they like the ill-gotten money), so reporting occasionally on stories like this helps keep consumers aware of how eager corporations are to prey on any carelessness or oversight they can. Report enough on it, and it might even become bad enough PR that the companies involved start introducing protective measures to avoid the issue moving forward.

Toddler grows up to be vigilante burger-orderer, ordering too many cheeseburgers for foster family after foster family in a lifelong quest to place the Ultimate Order of Burgery Vengeance for the family that cast him aside.

People who let their kids access their devices to keep them quite with the ability to purchase things are dumb. More news at 10.

Some parents use devices as pacifiers. They don't think the kids can entertain themselves, or think watching videos/playing with apps will keep them occupied and not bothering the parent. Also can be "kid wants to play with mommy/daddy's magic rectangle thing and whines when mommy/daddy says no so mommy/daddy gives it to them instead of dealing with a temper tantrum".

Shit, when I was a toddler, I could have fun smacking a stick against a tree because it made a cool noise.

Sometimes. Though in this case, he probably wouldnt have had a tantrum. She didnt even know it was unlocked. This kid apparently likes looking at his reflection in the phone. And she was letting him while working It just so happened he order 31 burgers

I've probably got 3-4 old phones sitting in a cabinet that I haven't used in forever, I would just hand them one of those with the WiFi turned off (and make sure it doesn't know how to connect to my network). Kid can play with it, beat on it, and whatever with it all they like.

No way in hell am I giving them my actual phone no matter how much they cry and scream.

Humorous. Mam is able to take it with a smiley. But now if he can order it more than once, keep the phone to herself before she has another burger brunch.

It really just shows that most people who have kids probably shouldn't be having them in the first place.

No. Not really Most people dont know much about raising their own kid until they have one Especially seeing as every child it different Therefore, how you have to raise them is different, as well Parents who have 2 children who are very different sometimes have to learn all over how to raise a child sometimes, just because they cant raise them the same way
