If trans people dont have an advantage over cis people because gender biology doesnt matter for sports, then one would naturally think that the same logic can be applied between men and women.

As others mentiones wrestling or weight lifting are more advanced here, they divide the sport in the actual physically factors that matter like weight instead of caring which gender you are.

Once again, in all things in the world, sports is by far the easiest to ascertain any sort of advantage. Because you know, sports love stats and win/loss records.

If this was the case why aren't trans athletes winning every single competition? After all your words say they should be dominating. We should be seeing these stories all the time. They are using "cheat codes" after all.

Of course this isn't happening. Every time a trans athlete wins something is when you people show up proclaiming it isn't fair, but don't give two shits about trans athletes who are competing and get dead last. Hell, most times people will bring up previous competitions of the same trans-person not even finishing top 3 in previous events, yet not a peep. Only when they win. It's the same story, every single time.

This is literally what happens anyway in every single competition.

Some people are born taller, stronger, faster, etc. than others, and people have to work harder than others to make the same levels of progress. It's only "fair" if we deem it fair. Making this exclusively a cis/trans conflict is rooted in transphobia.

Just acknowledge that there are always limits to how much training someone could ever do versus natural born talent.

Should Michael Phelps have all his medals removed because he had a biological advantage that allowed him to compete in his sport more effectively than essentially anyone else?

What about people who have hyperandrogenism where they naturally just produce more testosterone than their peers? Should they be excluded?

Once again, if there was an actual biological advantage to being trans, we should be seeing records smashed-all the time-by trans athletes much like the advantages that Phelps has. This isn't happening.

Where those divisions are drawn is completely arbitrary. Trans women are women, so right now they fit in that arbitrary category. You can redraw the lines if you want, but anything that violates that simple fact will be labeled as inherently transphobic.

And attributing the success of trans women in sports just to their being trans not only seeks to damage their identity, but also completely ignores their own struggles and hard work to make it to that point.

This has always been a stupid argument. People like Phelps compete with the best in the world. There is no one else for them to compete with.

The reality is that being trans and being an elite athlete or both very rare things on their own and they're even more rare when combined. Another reality is that being an elite athlete requires more than a lifetime of training and unfortunately man trans persons don't often have that much time to train due to time to train being a privilege in its own right. I mean, this is why "big secret" most elite athletes come from money. Their parents were able to pay for that special camp or team. Youth sports are incredibly expensive and often enough you may as well send your kid to private school.

What does this mean? Because he competed at an Olympic level he doesn't have competition? What?

Him being a rare level type of athlete who happens to have a biological advantage in has to do with what? I'm making a comparison of a person who actually does happen to have a biological advantage vs a group of competitors where a shit ton of people seem to believe they they also have an advantage. If that advantage was true, trans competitors should be winning all the time-they are not-and these topics come up, and up again every. single. time. when a trans(more specifically a transwoman) gets a win, and time after time, we see that that same person who happened to win one event does not go on to dominate the rest of the competition for years to come, and often times who they have struggled both prior to transition and after the fact.

People are too concerned about biology. When in sports, once again, you have plenty of statistical evidence in regards to pretty much anything as far as who is good, and who isn't. Trans people are not winning at any sort of discernable pace to even make the assumption that a biological advancement actually exists.

Training has advanced year after year. Are these people winning because of advancements in training? diet? strength and training? Who knows, and honestly it doesn't even matter.

You never hear these complaints coming from the good athletes. It's always the ones just decent enough to show up that always whine and cry about transgendered athletes.
