Ben, I can see why Chris voted for Sheep, and I've stated my reasons for suspecting Sheep (though if he backs off of Plum, I might change my mind...)

Well, if I explain, it will defeat my purpose for voting him. But eh since you asked -

When you originally voted for Sheep I was going to tell you that I am leaning town on him, or at the very least would not kill him today. And this still holds true. I've agreed with the logic in his posts so far, even though I do not agree with his Plum conclusion. And he has been contributing enough meaningful content and is a good enough player that I would not see him lynched. I decided not to say any of this back when you voted for him though because I wanted to wait and see if anyone else joined the Sheep train you started.

Chris was the only other person to actually join your Sheep train though and I dont disagree with any of Chris' reasons for voting Sheep. Pressure is good and I am both supporting Chris here and wanting to see where this goes with Sheep in the lead since most people so far have only said they liked Sheep.

Gold medal observations. It doesn't really mean anything anyways though because no matter what I do next you could read into it to serve your read. If I don't offer anything of substance you say that I continue to lurk, and if I start posting substance you can go 'oh look now that there's pressure he's doing something, how tactical'.

You do have the ability to ask me questions though! I would encourage that even if I might not have well developed thoughts.

I commented last topic that I didn't really like his labelling everything as a train, and it feels like he's offered nothing since going for that low hanging fruit other than a mild defense of Kirby's various reads.

Hb is fine. Just fine so far. And some players call them trains. I cant remember if he is one of them or not but it doesn't stand out to me as a problem

I like Hb, he backed me up on some of my points against plum :)

Fwiw, I don't think my thoughts have changed much since my apparently-fluffier-than-a-Build-a-Bear-Workshop-stuffed-animal wall. I don't think Hb has said much since my post, but I felt that he's offered thoughts that, while not game-changing, were constructive. He also asked a few questions here and there, though I forget if they were ever answered or not. I'd argue he's offered a lot more than you have, really.

But I'll grant that this is the same reasoning that led me to believe Mzero was town last game, so I wouldn't mind hearing more from Hb. He seems insightful.

Alright so I am back to feeling a bit better, good enough to concentrate and read anyway.

A couple of things I wanted to talk about before I get too deep into this topic.

First, Chris I saw you mention everyone should go back and read everything you posted in topic 1, so that half answers the first question I was going to ask in regards to review. As for the other half, is there anything super important that you think I personally should look at.

Another question for you Chris, I remember you talking about someone that hasn't played with you mentioning your play, is par for the course? Did anything come of that?

Secondly, I also remember a (Plum?) post about everyone calling me town. Does anyone know if I responded to that and whether or not they responded to my response?

Contrary to popular belief I'm not a sheeper by trade. Chris just breaks mafia games. Voting with Chris is just the best gameplay in our current enviroment. Because if he is town that just makes him more dangerous. And if he is scum then it will look very odd if the most dangerous man in the world is alive at end game.

Haven't read much of the topic. But that sounds like nit picking to me. I can't imagine a world where someone is calling everything a train and not assuming they are just incorrectly using mafia lingo to saying following.

Frankly, I felt uncomfortable about the train/dogpile on Isquen. His posts were mostly null alignment to me, but seeing a bunch of people pile on a relatively new player on day 1 makes me feel a little bit... skeevy, I guess. I'm always suspicious of that sort of thing.

It's mostly the latter, but its possible that the former is also true. I generally don't have much confidence in my early day 1 reads though, so I couldn't say for sure. I guess plum would look the worst from that, though, if I go down that logic to its conclusion

I got nothing here. There was a Kirby post very recently where he was asking or speaking about HB. I was hoping that your summary might have been enough to give me something on him but it wasn't really what I was looking for. So ill give you the same response I was going to give @Kirby321 HB is pretty easy to figure out as the game goes on.

What feels odd about it to you? I thought plums reasoning for voting isquen didnt feel genuine and seemed like weak justification.

Anyway, because of Chriss analysis, Im willing to give Plum the benefit of the doubt for now.

I'll even semi-dox myself for this week's work hours. Eastern time zone, Monday through Thursday, 1230 to 830 PM. Thursday morning work meeting from 830 AM until ??? (may skip for music and sleep purposes, but I haven't been to the last one.) Friday 10 AM to 6 PM. Free weekend except for D&D Sunday 4-7, if I live that long.

Statewide summer reading program approaches at my library, so posting during it will be rough, but I can contribute during *some* of my waking hours, for what little help I can be. A large field is just confusing, and I have nothing insightful or intuited without a reread (and thank fuck that we're only in topic 2.)
