On Epic Games or anywhere else you're at the mercy of the game, which means half the time you're just shit out of luck for no obvious reason. No problem with the program itself, but some games are just a pain in the ass. Just go to the library tab of Steam and at the bottom left there should be an "add game" option menu and then select non-steam game and then select the game from your computer files. If I'm playing a non-Steam game that doesn't have native controller support, I just add the executable into Steam and launch from Steam. The controller almost always works then. I can only think of one exception. That was Jedi Fallen Order. Resolved that by adding Origin to Steam and launching it that way. When I got a new Xbox controller it somehow didnt carry over the standard layout from my old controller (both elite series 2). So with the old controller Id go into a game and it would work normally. Then Id switch to the new controller and the button layout would be different and the analogue stick would only work in cardinal directions and not 360 etc. I had to revert the firmware on the controller to get it to work almost properly but still not exactly the same <cite>Kloe_Rinz posted [p:964764223] in Why is try...
