This is close to my response, though - not that I would take it over regular old Rayquaza - Rayquaza's looks enough like an improvement that I don't hate it. But they can go to hell for what they did to Mewtwo: Seeing that for the first time was one of the inciting moments in my break with the series.

Mega Ray, though Mewtwo Y is good

I guess Mega Diancie, since it's the only one that doesn't look uglier than the original.

I went with Mega Diancie.

Mega Mewtwo Y has one of the worst designs of any Pokmon, Ill take even the likes of Regidrago and Klinklang over him any day.

I didn't realise M-Mewtwo Y was so widely disliked! I'm not big on any Mewtwo tbh but I figured it'd get the gen 1 adjacent boost. I don't hate the Latis but it's incredibly silly that they're nearly identical. M-Ray is my vote, though it's not as good as the original. Diancie is fine.

But it changes the untouchable perfection of gen 1, therefore making it worse.

Top row looks kinda dumb. Rayquaza is cool but a bit too much. Diancie looks perfectly like some Fairy god.

I voted for emo Mewtwo who is laying on his bed with headphones on, pissed off that his mom bought Coke instead of Pepsi.

Not a big fan of any of these, but I probably like Mewtwo Y the best -- though I'd prefer if it was its own thing, maybe the inevitable Mewthree even.

Voted for Mewtwo Y he's not bad. I actually enjoyed the Mega Evolutions for the most part. It was at least the last decent gimmick they tried.

Eye color and technically Latias is smaller, but you can't really tell.

Going with Mega Rayquaza, but Mega Diancie is close

Mega Diancie is okay so gets my vote by default. Mega Rayquaza is just typical level bad and the other four are unholy abominations. I honestly forgot what the Mega Latis look like and they manage to be both boring and ugly at the same time! I dislike most legendary designs and most Mega designs too, and these just take the worst of both worlds.

anyway rayquaza and diancie are fine and the rest can remain in mega purgatory forever no problem

Mega Latias/Latios being way too similar really hurts them slightly in my opinion, but I give the nod to Mega Latias because I like regular Latias more than Latios. I still ranked them high because I do love both of their base forms.

Mega Lati gave us Soaring, at least.
