Game Freak was founded 33 years ago today!

I only recently realised just how much non-pokemon work Game Freak has developed over the decades. Pocket Card Jockey is the only one of these I've played, but all these games seem to have reviewed at least decently well.

Condolences to fans of Smart Ball, Magical Taruruto-Kun, Nontan to Issho: KuruKuru Puzzle, and several other JP-only games that don't even get a wikipedia page. There are only so many poll options.

It is, absolutely, 100%, without a doubt, Pocket Card Jockey, which I'd put over every Pokmon game GAME FREAK has made after that came out.

The only one I've played is HarmoKnight and I liked it enough to give it a vote.

I can't remember if Smart Ball is the game that I'm thinking of, or the other game that I always get mixed up with that game.

Looking at this list, it turns out that most of these game are not that great despite being well known.

Drill Dozer stands with the great Nintendo sidescrollers as far as I'm concerned.

An easy way to remember is that Smart Ball AKA Jerry Boy is the good game, while Jelly Boy is a bad game

Whoops I didn't expect Smart Ball to have supporters. Looks like Drill Dozer is the one I should look into!

They sure do! There's been nothing since Little Town Hero but they claim to be prioritising original game development more these days so maybe we'll see something else soon.

Yoshi is the only one I've played. It was okay.

The only one I've played is Mendel Palace. My brother and I used to rent it all the time. (remember when renting games was a thing)

It was really quirky and fun, so I gave it a vote.

Not sure if Pocket Card Jockey is the best here or just the most played, but it's very good! HarmoKnight is digital 3DS-only too, not sure if I should get that before the shop closes.

Harmonight generally annoyed me too much to want to play it. It's a bunch of things I should like.
