Which of these powers would you rather posess if you had to choose 1 of them & why.

The flight and speed's not super useful without the durability, I think.

Gotta go with the healing.

Mental processing so I can reach Lv 20 ascension in Slay the Spire

Have his strength you'll end up splattering someone on accident because having the mental ability to control it at all times is impossible
Having his flight, doesn't mean you'll have the body to endure the lack of air in the sky let alone how scary it'd be to be shot at when you tresspass in a country's no fly zones
Have his speed and you'll tear your body to pieces because you are a human
Durability might be the safest one to have because you can't get hurt by most things that'll kill a normal human but if you get run over and turn up fine people are gonna come after you and you'll likely become a government experiment
Eye powers, you might accidently hit yourself or someone else with them
Hearing, enjoy going mad with the constant sounds of either sex, screaming, crying, animals, various noises throughout the day and night
Freezing breath and ability to hold your breath might not be so bad but probably not all that useful in daily life
Healing factor, see labrat stuff above
stamina, this could be good with no real issues if you don't go overboard with it, through most would probably use it for sexual bragging rights

Eye powers are nice because they're part of a batch, but healing would be nice too just in case. Do I heal faster if I sunbathe?

Durability. Usefull for my line of work. Sure some might be stronger than me and toss me around like a ragdoll the whole time but I'll survive. Backup will eventually show up and everything will be fine.

Your memory is eidetic, that means you have photographic memory of everything happening to you.

You can sort through lots of visual, hearing, touch, taste, & olfactory information and pinpoint specific things at incredible speed.

Kind of like the TV show "Psych" where Shawn Spencer can pin-point things via his Eidetic Memory.

Superman wouldn't be affected by cancer, his regen would kick cancer's arse and throw it out.

His life would extend farther beyond a normal human, but wouldn't be anything ridiculous.

Think 2-3x human life span with slower aging and longer functional adult life without any of the downsides of old age that humans would normally have.

No, you don't heal faster because you sun bathe. The difference in solar energy that you collect while clothed & naked is negligible & miniscule.

The Sun is the extra power source that allows your Superman level of healing factor to work.

No Yellow Sun, no Superman Healing.

Tough choice between durability, healing and

Be basically immune to disease
Be basically immune to physical trauma
Be smarter

Hm. I feel like the enhanced mental speed could make my ADHD worse in some ways but still....

Superman's regen factor is also why he's ridiculously buff and it's not an uncommon depiction for other Kryptonian characters exposed to Earth's sun. Yellow sun is like roids for Kryptos because of the crazy regen it induces.

Durability. The only thing that might hurt me is a nuke. I know some versions of superman can survive them no damage tho. I guess the radiation can still kill me without the regeneration? Nonetheless I doubt ill ever be caught in a nuke explosion.

Also this reminds me of a character in invincible named brit (who is prob never going to be in the tv show) whose power is invulnerability. He is only peak human in strength but can overcome this through weaponry. He strapped a nuke to himself in one issue and blew it up while free falling down a city to cause damage to some superpowered baddie. Although brit's invulnerability also protected him from radiation. He just couldnt get hurt at all.

Do you think "the government" in real life has secret facilities where they experiment on super humans to learn how to duplicate their powers? That's absurd. If you had powers in real life and were discovered by some public spectacle, you wouldn't be vanished and taken to a government lab. Johns Hopkins and medical universities would make offers and ask you to participate in studies, you'd mostly be able to live your normal life.

Speed. I hated being among the slowest kids in running in gym. (I have flat feet and just couldn't run that fast)

I chose healing to get rid of my health problems. Would it also get rid of depression? That would be nice too.

Mental processing speed is the most useful, but i'm afraid it would ruin a lot of things.

Maybe healing? I do treat my body like crap.

And there is a lot of room in "significantly slower than 'The Flash'". I don't need to break the speed of light, outrun death or anything crazy like that. Could i get to anywhere on earth in a few minutes?

He's literally immortal & immune to disease as long as he has access to yellow sunlight & can essentially recover from death.

7:30 for me. But I wasn't a endurance runner I was more short distance and pure speed. In a short distance run I could keep up with the guy who could run a 6 minute mile. He was also our star running back on the football team

Yes, you'll get there in minutes, not hours. But it won't be as fast as Barry Allen AKA "The Flash".

Since you're not chosen or protected by "The Speed Force", let's cap you at a upper limit of Mach 5 based on the Arrowverse version of "The Flash" for a balanced approach.

Obviously, you'll need to find clothing that can keep up with the friction since you won't have the power of "The Speed Force" to protect your clothing.

There's already material out there that allows HyperSonic missiles to stay intact while going around Mach 5.

Pretty sure Ive seen Supes use it to just make walls invisible.

Super speed. And then I would use it to go so fast that the world spun backwards. Thus I would also have the power to time travel as well.

Superman knows untold thousands of language and can read huge tomes in seconds. Awesome stuff.

Durability never have to worry about injury or medical bills again

Flight, strength, and speed are useless or impossible without durability or regen.

And we have already proven via the many Wolverine topics on this board that regen alone gives peak strength, durability, speed, senses and mental faculties.

I doubt they where as strong as the real doomsday. I saw the animated movie. You'd win some battles sure but eventually they'd just take you out from afar before you knew they where there. Superman can do what he does cause he's durable. He ain't gotta worry a sniper is gonna pick him off.

You can't fly, take a hit, and you'd be vulnerable to infantry

Speed, flight, and strength can be used without killing yourself if you just use a fraction of their full potential, right? I mean the strength might lead to horrible accidents if someone startles you, but flight or speed can be used for traveling convenience/to win races. Granted when you leave Usain Bolt in the dust youre definitely gonna need to take drug tests, but they got nothing on you. Im assuming this means that you dont also get alien blood and the doctors will be like WTF is this dude made of

Nobody wants Cold Breath or Superman's Super Lung Capacity.

I'm gonna assume that you can use the speed/strength/etc without needing the regeneration/durability otherwise there'd be no point to those options.

My initial pick was speed but maybe healing sounds like the better option. Speed basically just gives you the ability to slow down time which I think would be sick. But healing is definitely the most practical.

Everything and nothing is canon in comics, but I think it makes sense to have the dude whose only superpower is gotta go fast be faster than Superman.

I'm sure it's one of those things where superman could be faster if he took a long enough of a sun dip. But that's like saying batman with prep time except this prep time would take much much longer
